chapter ten: get away from me

(no smut but some bad language)
naomis pov:
as i opened the door where all the sounds were coming from i instantly was absolutely heartbroken

i saw pony and that girl getting it off

and i hadn't even done anything!!!!! i ran out of the door as fast as i could, trying to get away from the horrible sounds

i felt someone running after me and i was hoping it wasn't ponyboy

they picked me up and through me over their shoulder

"hey dol i think that you need to tell dal what happened, it's totally not like ponyboy to do that, and nobody knows what you did wrong, i will try and talk to him but i really think you need to find and tell your brother everything from start to finish"

soda said with a warm but sad smile

i felt tears coming down my cheeks but instantly walked away so he couldn't see i was really that soft

i walked all the way to the front of the drive in but i still couldn't find dal, i walked past steve and twobit on my way to the concession stand

"naomi what's wrong dol?"
"are you ok?"
"what did ponyboy do"

all i did was walk past them and say
"ask sodapop he was there."
i tried to smile but instead i felt tears coming down my face

i turned around and started walking again

i had finally found dal leaning on the fence smoking
i took a deep breath and walked up to him

"what's wrong? your eyes are all red"

"look you can't get mad and do something if i tell you, ok?"

he slightly nodded and looked down at his feet

i told him everything about what had happened all the way from when we watched the sunset to now and i could see the anger in his eyes

" i'm gonna kill him!!!"
he said while walking away

i grabbed his hand

"no you are not! you said you wouldn't do anything!"

he then did something i never thought he would have done .. he kissed me ( jk that's freaking gross lmao)
he pulled me into a hug and for once i has felt like he had really cared about me

i pulled away, smiled at him and ran to sodapop

"so what happened? what did ponyboy say"
i said while looking at the ground
"well when i went back to talk to him, he wasn't there. i think he might of ran away"

he said while holding his hands on the back of his neck

little did they know he was in danger
