The two of you enthusiastically discussed  how you'd both start living for yourselves and rely on each other for the feeling of home. You'd both protect each other and be there for one another at all costs. He made a promise to you, he had promised to think of himself as more, to not only look at himself through a reflection and see a servant. 

You felt excited at the thought of getting to see what the world was like and being with your pearl the entire adventure. You'd both know what freedom tasted like. It had only been available to you behind a looking glass. 

That's when you began wondering if there was a way to get toward the planet Pink had headed to to see a kindergarten. Though, you had no other means of transportation to get to 'Earth' - as others seemed to call it. 

White had done a fairly well done job hiding you from other gems back on Homeworld, you remembered the familiar sight of lower status pearls saluting White in an orderly fashion as she walked down a narrow corridor that gave her no exposure. 

A sudden feeling made you want to learn why the guards back on Homeworld were rushing to the ships. Everyone had been shouting orders with instilled confidence about a group called "The Crystal Gems," and how they would crush their rebellion to let others know no one should ever try to oppose the Diamond again.

"Oh, if it weren't for that fusion, none of this would have happened in the first place!" One of the gems  spoke before the other next to them went to controvert that claim.

"No, it started when Pink Diamond went missing, and when she was shattered.." The other gem spoke her name gloomily.

A stern glare was cast upon them by White Diamond as she used her authoritative tone, which was usual when she addressed others. 

"You two need to stop speaking of a subject that doesn't concern you and let me and higher ranked gems handle things. Get back to your stations, and I don't want to hear such claims come out of your mouths again." It wasn't a suggestion, it was a firm demand. White had little patience for incompetence. 

You couldn't help but feel sympathy for the pair, seeing as their backs stiffened, knowing they unintentionally caused irritation to their diamond. 

"Yes, my diamond! I solemnly swear an incident like this will never happen again."  One of the gems stammered to speak, while you could sense their fear and nervousness. 

You wondered what the diamonds had in store for the other planet, you remembered hearing one of the gems say the diamond had planned to wipe out  Planet Earth and the rebellion as they scurried off like frightened rabbits.

"Our final strike will show these gems that no one will go against the Diamonds. Justice will be served in time for shattering our Pink Diamond. With any luck, my little flower, we will have everything back to normal once these Crystal Gems are flushed and out of our sight."

You recalled White saying. 

White had been  claiming that Pink was shattered, but you now knew that  that claim was false as you had just caught sight of Pink Diamond. You wondered if  you should let White know that Pink was living and healthy, but then, curiosity struck within you, you had heard gems back on Homeworld calling Earth a beautiful and lively place, and if it was not planned to be destroyed, they'd reside there.

However, those gems got punished by White for saying such things. White believed Homeworld was the most beautiful planet in the universe, and no planet could outshine or out - "beautify" Homeworld.

You then remembered hearing Pink compliment the planet as well, and so, you began to execute your plan to go to Planet Earth. After all, no one said you had to stay at the Moon Base, in fact, you had plenty of time to stay on Earth, and when the beautiful planet would be destroyed, you'd be sent back to the motherly arms of White.
