Pidge's eyes widened when she heard what Lance said, very clearly. To say that she wasn't expecting that would be an understatement, because when the two words fell out of his mouth, Pidge was flabbergasted.

"What?" Pidge said, and Lance didn't hear her. He was still staring at the stage, and Pidge saw the way the small tears that pooled in his eyes threatened to fall, but didn't. She saw his eyes widen, almost in a panic.

"He's looking at me," Lance spoke, and when Pidge turned to look at the stage, she wasn't expecting to be so close to one of her favourite artists, and definitely was not expecting him to be staring right at the boy next to her.

Keith stared at the unfamiliar face in the crowd, and he completely forgot what he was supposed to say after preforming, and he stood there, holding the mic. Lance stared back, and he found that he couldn't look away, because the singer had opened his eyes and oh my god he has beautiful eyes too, is he perfect? Lance panicked for a second, turning away quickly before the singer could realize that Lance, was in fact, covered in alcohol.

Keith regained his composure on stage, and he forcefully tore his eyes away from the man he saw only seconds ago. That was embarrassing. He heard Romelle snicker from behind him, and he had to fight the urge to glare at her.

He said a few words before leaving the stage, and Lance all but stumbled into the booth, where a confused Hunk stared at him.

"What happened to you?" Hunk asked, slightly concerned. He was worried that instead of Lance enjoying their night out, something might've happened to worsen his mood.

"I think he just fell in love," Pidge joked, sliding into the booth next to Hunk. Lance growled, pushing Hunk's drink across the table. Lance took a drink from his beer, not knowing what to say.

"Oh my god, he's not even denying it. That has to mean something, we all know how defensive Lance gets about that topic," Hunk said cheerily.

"I didn't fall in love, you guys can cut that out now. I was just in shock is all, someone spilt their drink all over me, and I wasn't expecting it. That's all," Lance said, emphasizing the last word. Hunk glanced at Pidge, and they both silently decided to drop the subject. This was the night Lance was supposed to forget about love, and have a little fun.

"You know that drummer, Romelle? She's good friends with Allura," Pidge said, changing the subject. Lance looked up at her, and he didn't need to say anything for her to understand that he appreciates it.

"Allura? Don't her parents own this place?" Hunk asked, and took a sip of his drink.

"Well that's how they scored a gig here, it isn't exactly easy to get a booking in this place, since it's so popular, there's a lot of people who want to play here too," Pidge says, finishing the last of her soda.

"How did you even find out about them? The band, I mean," Lance questioned, and Pidge has to forcibly fight back the urge to ask him why he wanted to know.

"Me and Matt, we were out at seven eleven when we heard music playing from the club next door, so we snuck in. There was another member in the band at that time though, but they had a falling out." Pidge told him honestly.

"What's with you and sneaking into places? Can't you wait a year or two and not risk the chance of getting caught?" Lance asked.

"That's a year or two's worth of time wasted. Plus, it's not like I do it to get drunk," She reasoned, and both Lance and Hunk understood, though they'd prefer if she didn't.

Hunk and Pidge's conversation stayed alive while Lance's eyes drifted to look out on the rest of the bar, and he was staring at the stage. He found himself thinking about the boy who was singing, not even caring what the name of the band was, or if the drummer played well, or even how uncomfortable his shirt was right then. He was thinking about how the singers eyes shone brightly against the purple hued lighting. Lance couldn't tell if his eyes were almost purple, or if it was only the lighting.
