Arrow licks Kayla's ear as she is curled up by the fire. Arrow had grown to be less aggressive towards Kayla. Arrow had surprisingly got protective over Kayla.
Master walked into the room and went to pick up Kayla. He began to pick her up and his fingers jabbed into her swollen belly. She snapped at him. Arrow jumped up and bit his arm. Master dropped her and flicked arrow off his arm. Kayla's swollen belly ached with pain.
"You stupid mutt!" She shouted as arrow fell. Blood dripped from masters arm. "No food mutts!" He said as he left the house.
"Are you okay Kayla?" He said as he stood above Kayla.
"Arrow, he's going to keep abusing me, us!"
"Our pups." She whispered.
"Arrow he's going to take our pups away! I know it, I just know it!" She said shaking her head.
"Then we should leave." Arrow said looked at the slightly open window.
