I get to the entrance to the school parking lot, but instead of turning in I drive past it, deciding to skip at the last minute. I just can't see Madi today.
I pull into an empty lot and pull out my phone, opening Google.

I tried texting him more last night, but he wouldn't answer. I decide to go into school late.
As I walk in I see Mace standing at his locker, but before I can get to him he rushes away. I call for him but he keeps walking away.
I decide to do what the website says and give him some time, let him think and eventually he'll be ready to talk again.
