Bath time

Karma [POV]

"I'll go get a bucket of water it would be best to do it outside right now while it's still light" Korosensei disappeared 

"I'll carry the fox Nagisa?" I asked

"Okay" Nagisa agreed pushing away from the desk with his left foot grabbing his crutches.  Kayano got another roll of bandages to wrap the foxes leg back up.  We went outside the fox squirming in my arms watching Nagisa as he walked in front of me

"Nagisa he likes you" I laughed, Nagisa turned around with a smile

"Karma you look just like him" Nagisa teased laughing "You're like his mother"

"You're more of his size you little runt" I joked

"You're so tall he's probably scared of you"

"You're just so short" I laughed setting the fox down on the ground outside, Korosensei came back with a bucket filled with water, a shallower dish and a bottle of animal shampoo.

"Where did you get all this?" Kayano asked

"Doesn't matter" Korosensei laughed

"You didn't steal it did you?" Kayano exclaimed

"No no goodness no I found them in the back and I got the shampoo elsewhere" He explained a little too broadly

"Let's get going" I urged pouring some of the water into the dish.  Nagisa carefully unwrapped the foxes leg.  He put the fox in the small dish of water.  I poured a little water on top of it with my hands.  It snapped at the water that dripped down.  Nagisa put a little bit of the shampoo in his hand rubbing it into the foxes fur till he was covered in soap apart from his head.  Kayano went back inside to get some towels.  I poured some more water on the fox the soap running down it's back.  Nagisa still seemed cautious to touch the fox but helped wash the soap out.  I splashed Nagisa with water playfully, he cried out in surprise

"Karma what was that for?" He whined, I shrugged laughing.  The baby fox shook the water from it's fur crawling out of the dish to where Nagisa was sitting.  Kayano came back with a towel for the fox scooping it up from the ground with the towel.  I helped her dry the fox, it's fur was still a bit damp but clean.  I lifted the bucket up and was about to pour out the remaining water when I got an idea.  I went up behind Nagisa pouring some of the water on him not all of it though since there was a lot.  He jumped looking up at me his bags matted to his forehead

"Karma!" He complained as loud as his voice would let him.

"Sorry it slipped" I laughed pouring the rest of the water out on the ground next to him.  Nagisa shook his head shaking out some of the water leaving his hair still wet.  The blood that was in his hair washed out running down his back.  He pouted looking up at me the fox in his lap, it had gotten wet too.

"Let's get back inside" I took the fox from his lap letting him stand up with the crutches.  Nagisa had the towel on his head while Kayano set the bucket by the doorway taking the dish inside.  Korosensei was waiting in the nurses office when we came in, he had made a makeshift dog bed out of another blanket and a pillow on the desk.  I sat the fox in the bed.  Nagisa took his shirt and waistcoat off the desk and left the room.  While Nagisa changed I wrapped the foxes leg back up, it was bleeding again.  The fox looked for Nagisa the whole time.  When he came back his hair was down and was still wet.  Nagisa was just buttoning up his waistcoat as he came in.  The fox yipped at him standing up excitedly.  Nagisa had unwrapped the bandages from his neck, with the blood washed away it was easier to see the scratch marks.  They didn't seem too deep which was good and even the bleeding had stopped

"He was looking for you the whole time you were gone" I informed him, Nagisa laughed sitting down on the bed

"You clean up nicely, when you left you looked like a dying rat" I teased

"You were the one who poured water on me" He pouted

"It slipped" I insisted leaning back in the office chair.  The fox yipped looking at Nagisa.  I picked up the fox and rolled over to the bed putting the baby fox on Nagisa's bed

"Karma what are you doing?" Nagisa exclaimed

"He wanted to see you" I laughed crossing my leg over the other.  The baby fox crawled onto Nagisa's lap curling up.  Even now Nagisa still seemed unsure how to react to the fox

"You're so jumpy around him he loves you" I pointed out

"I'm never around any animals" Nagisa explained resting his hand gently on the foxes back

"He's going to be here for a while why don't you give him a name?" I suggested

"Me?" Nagisa asked raising one eyebrow

"Yeah you're the one who found him right?" Kayano agreed

"Plus I don't think calling him fox would be very convenient through the whole time it takes for his leg to heal" I shrugged, Nagisa thought for a bit

"Fennix?" He asked looking down at the fox on his lap.  The fox yipped happily

"I think he likes it" I laughed, Nagisa smiled at Fennix, he yawned petting him

"You tired already?" I asked, Nagisa shook his head

"You're yawning" I pointed out

"So that doesn't mean anything" He protested

"Fennix is tired" I pointed to Fennix who was sleeping in Nagisa's lap

"He's making me tired" He insisted

"If you're tired go to sleep I don't think Fennix will mind" I told him

"I can't go to sleep again" He whined

"You're tired and it's not like there's much to do but try to figure this out and I don't think a nap will hurt" I shrugged, Fennix woke up yipping at Nagisa

"Even Fennix says you should sleep" Kayano laughed, Nagisa just pouted

"I'll wake you in a bit" I reassured him, Nagisa yawned again.  Fennix jumped off his lap letting him lay down before curling up again by his chest.
