Karma [POV]

"Nagisa where is your phone?" I asked thinking that it might be his phone.  Nagisa pointed in the direction of his school bag.  I rummaged through it pulling out his phone.  Looking at the screen it was his mother

"It's your mom" I told him, the color drained from his face.  He held his hand to his hear mouthing 'answer it'.  I followed his instruction answering the phone putting it to my ear

"Nagisa honey?" his mother asked "Where have you been?"

"Uh well this is Karma Akabane, Nagisa lost his voice" I explained broadly

"Where's Nagisa?" She asked

"He's sitting right next to me" I reassured her

"Where are you two?"

"Didn't Nagisa tell you he was going to spend the weekend at my house?" I asked her, there was a moment of silence before she replied

"Oh right it must've slipped my mind" she laughed "Sorry for bothering you two, have fun"

"Thank you Ma'am" there was a click on the other line when she hung up.  Nagisa looked at me raising one eyebrow

"Don't give me that look you can't even see me" I cried out.  He smiled and what seemed like he was laughing but made no noise.  He handed me a piece of paper with very sloppy handwriting.  So I get to spend the weekend at your house for once?

"No we have to stay here to somehow get you fixed" I patted him on the head, he frowned pouting

"Don't look so sad about that we have to get you fixed" I laughed putting his phone back in his bag.  Are we going to stay here all weekend?

"Yup, we don't have anywhere else that we can go without raising a few questions" I nodded even though he couldn't see

"How are we going to fix him?" Kayano asked

"How should I know" I shook my head, Nagisa stretched his legs out in front of him with a yawn.  He wrote something down still squinting at the paper.  I'm hungry.

"Yeah we'll get something in the morning" I told him, he nodded

"Are you going to sleep now?" Kayano asked, Nagisa shook his head

"I haven't eaten all day myself because I was taking care of you" I laughed, Nagisa yawned again rubbing his eyes

"Nagisa might be going to sleep though" I joked, Nagisa shook his head quickly.  I'm not going to sleep until you do.  He wrote

"You're so stubborn if you're tired then just go to sleep" I told him laughing.  He smiled, I was relieved that at lease he wasn't that stressed out.  Korosensei came into the room holding some snacks

"I figured you kids would be hungry" He laughed handing us each a granola bar.  Nagisa was unsure at first fumbling with the wrapper.  I pulled the wrapper off mine and helped Nagisa unwrap his.  He was going to say something but remembered he couldn't speak.  He looked down at his hands taking small bites from the granola bar.

"Something on your mind?" I asked, he set the granola bar on his lat pulling out the notepad and started writing.  I was just trying to remember anything.

"Anything?" I asked, he just shook his head.  Nagisa took another bite from the granola bar

"It will be back soon" I reassured him, he nodded dully

"Nagisa how are you feeling?" Kayano asked, Nagisa looked up but not really knowing where to look.  He wrote something down handing it to me.  My vision doesn't help but otherwise I feel fine.  I handed the note to Kayano.  She read it and smiled

"That's good" she exclaimed, Nagisa smiled back though I don't think he even saw her smile

"You should get some sleep your vision should get better in the morning" I told him patting him on the head.  He sighed yawning but nodded.  He laid down on his side his back to me.  There was still a tint of red still in his hair

"How are we going to do this?" Kayano asked sitting down on the office chair I was on before.  I was sitting on Nagisa's bed

"Well we have one weekend before things start to get a little suspicious, I hope that will be more than enough time to figure this out, his sight should be better by morning he probably just got something in his eyes out in the woods, his voice isn't much we need to worry about it should be back by the end of the day tomorrow, that is if everything goes to plan, what I'm worried about most is his memories" I admitted

"What if a weekened isn't enough time, what will happen then?"

"We'll find more time somehow" I reassured her but I didn't really feel that confident about it myself that we would be able to fix this in a weekend.  Nagisa rolled over to his other side one of his notes fluttering onto the floor, I picked it up.  No I feel like I'm going insane.

"This stress that we feel can't even compare to what Nagisa must be feeling right now" I muttered tearing up the note

"He's lost a good chunk of his memories, his vision and his voice what could be worse" Kayano asked watching me tear up the note

"The fact that we are extremely stressed out about this too surely isn't going to be much help to him I looked over at Nagisa worriedly.  One of his hands was covering his eyes, the other was resting by his chest

"Remember when he fell asleep in your arms" Kayano giggled quietly as she looked over at Nagisa

"Yeah" I smiled weakly though that wasn't too long ago.  Korosensei appeared back in the room

"When do you keep leaving?" Kayano exclaimed, Korosensei laughed

"I figured it would get cold tonight so I brought some extra blankets" He laughed, I got up taking one of the blankets from him and laying it over Nagisa

"Thanks Korosensei" I smiled

"You kids should get some sleep as well" he instructed "we can't have you two being tired in the morning" Korosensei seemed so calm like he'd done this a millions times before.  Like he'd been in this situation before.

"Korosensei how are you so calm?" I asked

"As a teacher it's my duty to stay calm in situations like these" He replied simply "Get some sleep now" he left the room leaving us alone.  I took the middle bed next to Nagisa's and Kayano took the bed furthest from the door by the window

"Night Karma" Kayano muttered

"Night Kayano" I replied, there was only silence after that, Korosensei didn't come back into the room the rest of the night.  Nagisa kept tossing and turning all night it was hard to even think he was sleeping at all.
