Darkness within [karmagisa]

Nagisa [POV]

The girl came back much sooner than I hoped,

"My my I didn't expect you to be back so soon" She laughed

"Why are you doing this to me?" I shouted

"Because I had so much taken from me playing the same game you play and now it's your turn to be taken from" she snapped

"I can't end this game..., I won't end it" I protested firmly

"You still insist on playing this game?  Despite the fact that it only tortures you, Nagisa this is a game you will not win" She shouted

"You can take all you want but I won't end it" I told her

"If I take any more of your memories you'll just be incapable of ending this game, I'll just have to do this myself" She clapped her hands together with a smile "Why didn't I just think of that sooner" The darkness built up around me in a swift fluid motion almost like water but instead of threatening and choking me it tried to get inside me.  I tried to scream but nothing came out, I couldn't move, I couldn't think, I wasn't in control anymore.

Karma [POV]

I woke up early in the morning, the sun was just starting to rise.  I heard Nagisa scream, I sat up quickly but he had stopped.  There was silence, I looked over at Kayano, she was awake too sitting up.  I waited expecting something

"Nagisa?" I asked cautiously as Nagisa sat up a little bit looking around

"Nagisa what's wrong?" Kayano asked

"I-I had a nightmare" He stuttered, I could hear his fast breathing from where I sat

"It's okay Nagisa you're fine" I reassured him

"I-I'm just gonna go for a walk" He explained picking up his crutches from the ground

"Be careful" Kayano called questionably as he left the room

"He didn't seem right" I muttered to myself but Kayano heard me

"it seemed like he was in a rust to leave" Kayano agreed

"Should we follow him?" I suggested, Kayano didn't even get a change to answer before there was another scream and a loud crash.  I quickly got out of bed rushing out to the hallway.  Kayano followed me int he direction of the front door but I stopped quickly by the classroom Kayano bumping into me.  The door was open, as I looked in I saw Nagisa on the floor on his hands and knees a pool of blood forming around him.  Both his wrists were slashes several time with a pair of scissors that laid in the puddle of blood

"Stop I don't want to do this" He hissed though I don't think he knew we were here.  I soon realized that he didn't even direct it at us

"You have to end this game, you should be seeing at how it treated you" A girl appeared in front of him tilting his chin up to look at her "It hurt you, broke you, killed your mind over and over again, and despite all that you're forced to hide it all with a smile.  They dress you up, make fun of you every day.  You landed yourself here int he E-class because you couldn't handle it all and your grades began to slip and now, it's happening again.  It's getting worse and you can't keep up, why do you keep fighting?  I've been in your mind I know how awful your life really is"

"I won't end it, not like this, not on your watch, if I want to end this twisted game of life I'll be ending it on my own terms not yours" He snapped the pool of blood getting larger.  He was already starting to shake.  The girl grabbed the pair of scissors from the ground which was covered in blood.

"I hate those like you, you want to die but you're too scared to do it even when an opportunity opens up right there you ignore it" she shouted plunging the scissors into his shoulder.  The girl looked directly at us her eyes were sunken and cold

"You hear what I'm saying?  I bet you never even knew how twisted his mind it though he's your best friend, and even the fondest of times he had with you he hates it" she shouted at me smiling "I bet you never even knew what he was really thinking" Nagisa turned to the doorway looking at me his face full of terror but in his eyes there was nothing, no emotion, just dull, lifeless eyes.  The girl tilted his chin back to look at her

"You're such a good actor but you can't hide it from everyone, I saw it as soon as you set foot on this campus.  You're distress" She laughed pulling the scissors from his shoulder raising it over her head with one hand, the other held Nagisa in place.

"MADISON STOP" A familiar voice shouted just as she was about to kill him.  A boy appeared, he looked much younger than the girl.  He had pale lifeless features and light blonde hair that flowed in the same way the girl's did like they were underwater.  He had a thin white shirt similar to the one Nagisa wore under his waistcoat.  The boy wore light tan brown pants that bunched at the floor being too long for him.

"What do you want Finn?  This doesn't concern you" She shouted releasing her grip on Nagisa focusing on the boy whose name was apparently Finn

"Madison you cannot keep doing this, it is far past our bedtime, it's time to sleep now" Finn's voice was sad and quiet

"You know very well I cannot sleep, not after what they did to me" She snarled

"They were only playing Madison it was not they're fault" Finn stepped closer to where Madison and Nagisa were "You cannot do this, not again"

"How are you not furious Finn they did it do you as well, don't you want revenge?" she asked the anger starting to drain from her voice

"No Madison they did not mean for it to happen they were simply playing, Madison it's time to rest, you got your revenge already" The boy was calm and never once shouted at the girl

"Finn....," She started

"It's time for you to rest now Madison" Finn told her "I love you sister"

"I love you Finn, I'm sorry" Madison dropped the scissors, it made a loud crash making Nagisa jump

"I'll see you home Madison" Finn told her

"I'm so sorry" Madison was starting to sob now

"I know, it's time to sleep now, I'll see you soon" He walked up to her kissing Madison on the cheek.  She didn't say anything else before she had disappeared a simple gust of wind the only thing to acknowledge she was gone.  Finn turned to us

"I am deeply sorry for what she has done, and I'm sorry that I had to cut it so close with your friend, she is very good at keeping me away" He bowed his head in an apology before looking up at me with a faint smile "We met in the woods"

"What about Nagisa?" I asked, Nagisa turned to say something his face pale looking like he could collapse at any moment, I stopped him from saying anything though "I swear to god Nagisa I know you better than that and I swear if you say your fine I will kill you yourself" 

"There's the Karma I know" Kayano muttered to herself

"He will be okay" Finn reassured us.
