Karma [POV]

Right as we got to Nagisa's apartment, Nagisa stirred opening his eyes looking around

"Where are we?" He mumbled tiredly

"Your apartment building" I responded

"Why are we here?" he rubbed his eyes

"You fell asleep so we decided to take you home" I told him

"Oh sorry" He apologized rubbing his eyes again

"Don't be, you're tired it's fine" I reassured him, he nodded

"Why don't we get something to eat I'll pay" He offered jumping from his arms landing first on his left foot slowly lowering his right foot down which was the injured one.

"Are you sure you seem pretty tired" Kayano raised one eyebrow

"Yeah I was the one who fell asleep my treat" he smiled

"Okay don't fall asleep again on us though" I joked, Nagisa laughed

"Let's go" he urged starting back down the stairs using the railing to keep the weight off his right foot

"Do you want me to carry you again?" I offered jokingly

"I can walk myself" He insisted

"Okay" I rolled my eyes.  Nagisa led the way to a small restaurant and went in.  We sat down at a table and waited to get served.  Nagisa ordered a green tea and a slice of strawberry cake.  Kayano ordered a glass of water and a small order of noodles.  I ordered a soda and a slice of blueberry pie.  Nagisa seemed tires still and picked at his  cake.  Kayano ate her noodles slowly

"Nagisa why didn't you ever mention anything about your mother like that?" I asked

"W-Well I told you that she's strict but I didn't find the need to mention how strict exactly"

"Or that she pretty much treats you like a girl?"

"Well I think that's just a string of bad luck for me, I've been thinking that if I was born a girl my relationship with my mom would be better" He sighed "I was born a boy but cursed with a female body"

"It's not that bad you could go undercover easy" I suggested

"To be completely honest for the most part of this year I thought you were a girl" Kayano admitted earning a groan from Nagisa

"You see my problem?" he asked

"Well in that dress you don't look too manly" I teased

"If it was my choice I would have burned this already, I hate being my mother's dress up doll" he took a sip of his tea

"Well why don't you stand up to her" Kayano asked, Nagisa started choking on his tea

"You saw what happened in class today there is no way I would be able to stand up to her" He exclaimed coughing.  I started talking to Kayano for a while, I glanced at my phone.  It had gotten pretty late and Nagisa had gotten oddly quiet.  Looking over at him he had fallen asleep again

"Oh you've got to be kidding me" I rolled my eyes laughing to myself.  Kayano was about to ask something but looked over at Nagisa next to me and started laughing too

"Should we wake him up or...," she started trailing off

"Didn't we tell him not to fall asleep again?" I asked

"You told him that"

"Well in his defense he didn't seem to up to hanging out tonight" I shrugged

"Yeah but it's kinda creepy how he doesn't move at all when he sleeps even his breathing doesn't move him very much"

"You're right that's really creepy" Kayano was right, Nagisa didn't move at all.  Even his breathing was shallow enough for him not to move

"Is he even still alive?" Kayano asked, I shook Nagisa by the shoulder

"Nagisa, still alive over here?" I asked, Nagisa raised up his hand a bit

"Alive and not actually sleeping" he mumbled a smile stretching across his face as he opened his eyes

"Like I believe that" I frowned

"You really think I breath that shallow I was doing that on purpose" he sat up "I was watching the TV but got bored of that so I decided to listen to your conversation and see how long it took for you to notice"

"How creepy for you to be able to do that I thought you were dead" Kayano exclaimed, Nagisa just laughed

"It's not that hard just hold your breath for a long time but let a little air in at a time" he shrugged

"In that time you were playing dead you could have ate your cake" I scolded pointing to his half eaten cake

"It's too sweet" he whined picking at the cake with his fork

"You're such a baby" I whined

Nagisa [POV]

"Karma I'm not a baby" I whined

"You need to man up Nagisa" Kayano joked laughing, I was sleeping for a little bit but I did wake up before Karma shook me which was funny

"Nagisa are you ready to go?" Karma asked me

"Yeah" I pulled out my wallet putting the right amount of money in the check.  I got up following Karma and Kayano out of the restaurant, my ankle seemed to have gotten worse in that time we were sitting down.  It was almost impossible to walk properly

"How's your ankle?" Kayano asked as we came out of the restaurant as if she had read my mind

"fine" I forced a smile.  Karma looked at me doubtfully but didn't say anything.  It seemed to take forever to get back to my apartment.  When we did I fumbled with my keys and struggled to unlock the door.  Karma took the keys from me and unlocked the door

"You're so clumsy" He joked handing the keys back to me

"Thanks" I smiled "See you guys in class tomorrow" I waved to them as they left shutting the door.  I was hoping that mom would be asleep by now but like everything else today that didn't do my way she was still awake

"Nagisa is that you?" She asked from the living room

"yeah I'm just gonna go to bed" I called to her

"Goodnight then" I expected her to say something else but thankfully she didn't.  I went to my room shutting the door behind me
