"Mommy why do I have to go to class?"
"Because you must learn how to behave like a proper citizen child." The older woman crouched down in front of the robot girl's face raising her chin so she could look her straight in the eye "And that's what we want isn't it dear?"
"Yes Mommy."
"Good, now turn around." The girl was obedient walking away down the corridor as another conversation started in her wake. "Madame President, there's been an out break of the radicals."
"What?? Why? Who was on that station, what sector? Why are you just standing there?? Get me answers! Now!" the girl started running, running for the door, as fast as she could tears streaming down her cheeks not turning to look back at the robot sprinting down the corridor towards her, "Clarisa4530! Stop instantly or face the consequences! Listen to your mother child!"
The girl stopped turning to face the robot woman, "You're not my mother."
She skidded through its legs, her fingertips brushing the handle of the door as the cold, metallic fingers grasped her collar, she screamed as she was pulled away from the freedom she desired into the depths of the tower
