At the bar Charlotte and Sam were relocated to a table away from the louder bar patrons who were getting wilder as the minutes passed, the two hunters were getting more and more sober as the night went on. Neither of them seemed to care though as they talked about anything that came to mind.

"You know this is kind of nice," Sam admitted after a moment, Charlotte gave him a confused look so he continued. "We travel so much, it's not often that we get a chance to just sit and talk with another human being. Or at least talk to them and it not be about a hunt, it's just...nice,"

"Everyone is entitled to a break Sam," Charlotte said with a smile. The liquor had worn off completely for both of them at this point. She took a sip of her water before looking back up at him. "If it makes you feel better, I can't remember the last time I just sat and talked to someone who wasn't Maddie, or a customer who was paying me to talk to them," the last part was only slightly a joke.

"I find that hard to believe," He said as he looked at the blonde.

"yeah, whys that?" She questioned leaning forward to give him her full attention she had a little smile on her face that distracted him for a moment before he replied.

"well look at you," he shrugged and played with his glass nervously. "who wouldn't want to talk to you,"

Charlotte tried to hide her smile as she took a sip of her water. Of course he was saying all the right things tonight and then leaving tomorrow. Flipping her phone from her pocket she noticed it was already almost two in the morning. She contemplated what to do next, not wanting the night to be over just yet.

"hey are you hungry?" she asked looking back at the long haired man.

"I could eat," he replied with a smile. "I think I saw a little diner by our motel,"

"Rosa's yeah, they have the best waffles," she said excitedly, grabbing her purse she stood up from the booth, throwing on her jacket as they made their way out of the bar. They didn't make it far though when a group of drunk regulars stopped the blonde.

"Charlotte!" She heard them all yell making her cringe. Sam stepped closer the her and placed a hand on the small of her back to usher her to the door in hopes to help her avoid the drunk crowd.

"Hey, I thought you said you didn't date!" Ron a 35 year old divorced father of 2 grumbled out with a glare. He had tried his luck with the blonde, just like about half of the current residents of the bar and had been painfully shot down. He looked at Sam who didn't hesitate to stare down the shorter man; Ron's beer goggles were on and the man didn't look that tall.

"I said I wouldn't date you," she corrected over her shoulder with a flip of her hair, not bothering to inform the men that she sadly wasn't dating the gorgeous giant behind her. The other men were hooting and hollering, Ron's face going red as he mumbled to himself.

"You have to deal with that every day?" Sam said with a frown as he stared at the crowd his hand still placed on her back as he stepped closer to speak in her ear.

"Not every day, Tuesday and Friday are my off days," She joked before pulling him to the door.

The two hunters finally made it to the parking lot and were making their way to Maddie's car. Taking out the keys Charlotte tossed them to Sam who caught them easily.
