Shen Yue got up a little earlier than usual today. It was only 5 o'clock in the morning. She was so excited, she couldn't sleep the night before. But she knew she had to have a good rest and be her best self the next day, so she put herself to sleep at around 11 o'clock in the evening
It's didi's birthday today. She was avoiding him since yesterday. She didn't messaged him like she did last year. Sincd it's the first time they're celebrating his birthday as a couple, she wanted it to be special.
She already have everything fixed. From the venue, to the visitors, foods and of course, her gift.
She had some trouble choosing the perfect gift. She was always being taken care of didi, she wanted to repay him but didn't know what could make him happy. Until she decided to give him a scrapbook.
She filled it with their pictures. From their very first selfie up to the last selfie they took before she left Aershan. Under those pictures are messages, notes of what she was thinking during the time when it was taken. She left out about 10 pages though, before that, she wrote a note saying, "This is our journey, I want you to continue it for me. Fill it in with the memories we are about to create. I know 10 pages isn't enough because this is for a lifetime, so we'll just add more pages next time."
She smiled to herself. Didi will definitely be surprised, she hopes he'd be happy, too.
She invited the MG cast and his best friends. It'll be a private celebration in a restaurant.
The plan will be like this. After their shoot, Xi Zi will call Didi and ask him if they can hang out. Of course, Xi Ze will be with Didi and he'll back up whatever Xi Zi is going to say. They'll have him come to the venue. And if he refuses, saying that he'll just cook for them, they will tell him that they already grew tired of his dishes and want to try something new.
The guests will be waiting at the venue. And Yue will be the last to show up, she'll bring him his cake that she baked herself.
When 6 PM came, Xi Ze called her saying they are about 5 mins away. She rushed to tell everyone to go to their places. And she quickly went behind all of them.
When Didi entered the room, they all began singing happy birthday. Didi was so shocked, he fell on his knees, his hand covering his face. When he looked up again, everyone's starting to walk sideways.
He then saw Yue in the middle, holding a cake. He quickly stood up. He can't help his smile but he tried his best to give a sulking face. This girl didn't even message him! She only left a comment on her post. And now, she's bringing him his cake. And what? Did she plan all of this?
"Happy Birthday, Wang He Di." Shen Yue told him when she was a foot close to where Didi is standing. She raised the cake and told him to make a wish.
Didi closed his eyes and whispered, "I wish to be together with the girl standing before me, forever."
Yue hid her face. She knew she was blushing. Didi took the cake from her and handed it too Xi Ze.
She took Shen Yue's hands and pulled her into a hug. A long, tight one. He didn't care about everyone who was looking at them. It's his birthday, he can do whatever he wants.
"Thank you, my moon." He whispered in Yue's ear. She laughed and pulled herself from the hug.
"You fool, I haven't even given you my gift yet."
"What? I thought you are already the gift." Didi teased her making Yue kick him.
Shen Yue went to the table and took her gift that was resting there. She extended her hands to Didi, her face down. "For you."
Didi took the gift while laughing, he found her so cute while doing the gesture.
"Can I open it now?" Yue nodded.
He flipped the through the pages, smirking and laughing occassionally. He reached the final message Yue left, he quickly shut the book and pulled Yue for another hug.
"Thank you, this is the best birthday gift I've ever received. Well, maybe next to boss' gift."
Still not letting go from the hug, Shen Yue punched him from the side.
"I'm kidding. I love you, Shen Yue. I'll definitely fill this with lotsa pictures."
He cupped Yue's face and stared at her for 10 seconds. She was the best gift. Having her is the only thing he wanted. He was so happy.
He kissed her on the forehead for a long time.
"Oh, stop flirting, you two! We're already hungry. We've been watching you for like 30 minutes already!" Guan Hong exclaimed, making Didi break the kiss.
