Chapter 6 : Old Rivals

"Ash~!!!"

Ash turned around to see Misty,Brock and Gary behind him.He replied with a simple "Hey!"

"Congrats on winning your first match Ashy-boy." Gary said with a smirk. "Oh shut up Gary."

"Yeah yeah whatever."

"C'mon Ash~let's go get our rooms~!" 

Misty dragged the unwilling Ash towards Nurse Joy.Everyone else just sweatdropped at the scene while Serena felt a tint of jealously inside of her.

"Nurse Joy,could we get our rooms?" asked Ash. "Of course! Just give me a quick second!"

"Oh,but of course! For you Nurse Joy,I would give you a million seco---" said Brock but quickly got cut off by Misty. "Oh stop it with your flirting and let Nurse Joy do her work!" Misty cut off giving him a smack on the head. "And done! Just so you know,each room will be shared by four people! Anyway...Ash,you and Clemont will be in Room 256.Serena,Misty,May and Dawn will share Room 195.Brock,your room is Room 238.Max,you can share the room with Ash and Clemont and Bonnie,you can go with Serena!"

"At least I don't have to deal with Max."May mumbled while sighing. "HEY I heard that!"

"Anyways thanks so much Nurse Joy." replied Clemont. "No problem."

"C'mon Clemont,Max let's go to our room!" "Sure!"

"I swear Ash is always in a rush...See you later Brock!" Misty said. "Sure!"

Ash's POV

We were walking down the hallway trying to find Room 256 when we suddenly spotted it at the end of the hallway. 'Great...Now we have to walk all the way. Some luck...' I thought.As we were about to open the door,we heard sounds of people talking inside. 'Guess our roomates are here already.' I slowly opened the door to see it was none other than Paul and Trip. "No way Paul,Trip?!" I shouted out loudly. "Quiet down Ash! You're disturbing other people." warned Clemont. "Hehe...sorry." 

"Pathetic." 

I sweatdropped at his one word comment. "You always say that =_= ."

"Wow I can't believe this guy was your rival." Trip said.

"Shut it."

"Okay okay jeez..." "Anyway it's been a while since we battled,wanna go?" asked Trip. "And I won't go down that easily this time."

"A pokemon battle? I wanna watch!" Max said.

"Okay then let's g---"

"WAIT!"

I turned around to see that it was Clemont who shouted. "What's wrong Clemont?" "We still need to unpack remember?" "Right..."

I turned to Trip. "Sorry Trip maybe next time?" I said while scratching the back of my head. "Sure." he replied.

At the corner of my eye,I could've sworn I saw Paul mumble something to himself. I just shrugged it off and started unpacking,along with Clemont and Max.

"Hey I'm gonna go take a shower first." I called out to them. They nodded in acknowledgement. I rushed into the bathroom and started to bathe.

A few minutes later...

I came out from the shower and started thinking about my day. I layed on my bed and slowly drifted off to sleep as I dreamt about today's battle.

Serena's POV

With Serena when Ash,Clemont and Max left...

"Bye Brock!" "See ya later!"

After saying our goodbyes to Brock, me,Dawn,May,Misty and Bonnie started making our way to our room. 'I wonder who Ash's roomates are? I hope they're nice to him.'  We made our way to our room which was quite near the lobby. 'We are so lucky!' I thought. On our way there,we started to get to know each other.

"So Misty,Serena,what are your goals. Just curious. Me and May both want to be the top coordinater but what about you two?"

"I want to become the best water type user and become a successful gym leader too!" Misty replied. "Wow you own a gym?" asked Bonnie. "Me and my sisters." "Cool! My brother owns a gym too!"

After hearing that,I got a bit jealous. It might not be a wonder if Ash likes Misty. She's talented,pretty and a good battler too."

"Hello~Serena? Earth to Serena?"

I was brought out of my thoughts when I heard Dawn calling to me. "Ye-yes?"

"We've reached our room."

"Oh."

We went into our room and started unpacking. "So Serena? Why were you spacing out earlier?" asked Dawn. Misty and May's head immediately shot to mine. "U-uh-uh I was thinking what kind of macaroons to give my pokemon! Yeah!" 

"Okay. By the way, what is your dream?"

"My dream?" "Yup."

"I want to become the best performer and then Kalos Queen!" "What's that?"

"A performer is someone who uses pokemon moves to make beautiful things. Kinda like a coordinater,but without the fighting." I replied.

"Sounds cool!" May replied. "Let's quickly finish unpacking and go to the cafeteria,I don't know about you,but I'm starving!"

"Hehe okay I'll go bathe first since I'm done unpacking." I replied.

I got into the bathroom and started bathing. As I was bathing,I was thinking about Ash and Misty. 'If I'm going to win Ash's heart,I'm gonna have to try harder!' I thought,determined to win Ash over. 'I will beat Misty!'

A.N. I might not not be posting for the next week since exams are coming up and I don't wanna fail... To make it up I'll try and make the next chapter much longer. Peace out~
