Chapter 5 : It's Evaluation Time!

"So...first up we have...Ash vs..."

"Cilan!"

'No way! Cilan's in the tournament too?' Ash thought while looking up to see Cilan standing on the opposite side of the battlefield. 

"Hey Ash it's good to see you again!" Cilan said while waving a hand towards Ash. "I would love to catch up with you right now but we have a battle right now! Simisage it's evaluation time!"

Simisage!

"Wow! Looks like your Pansage evolved into a Simisage! But I won't go easy on ya! Sceptile,I choose you!"

Sceptile!

"Let the battle begin!"

"Sceptile use Quick Attack!" Sceptile lunged towards Simisage with a Quick Attack.

"Simisage, use dig to dodge!" It burrowed itself into the ground forcing Sceptile to be unable to hit it with Quick Attack.

"Sceptile,use bullet seed into the hole!" Sceptile sent a barrage of Bullet Seeds into the hole causing Simisage to appear from the ground behind it.

"Simisage quick use Rock Tomb!" It fired a bunch of rocks towards Sceptile.

"Counter with Leaf Blade!" Sceptile jumped into the air,using Leaf Blade to slice up every single rock and ran towards Simisage with a grin. Horror was written all over Simisage's face as it got hit by Leaf Blade.

"Great job Sceptile!" yelled Ash giving a thumbs up to Sceptile. Sceptile! it yelled gleefully.

"It's not over yet!" Cilan yelled from the other side. "Use Vine Whip!" Simisage nodded at its trainer, while vines were coming out of it's back.Using the vines, it tried to hit Sceptile. Key word: tried.

"Sceptile, grab its vines and throw it across the battlefield!" Grabbing its vines, Sceptile threw Simisage across the battlefield. "Now finish it with Leaf Storm!"

"We're not giving up that easily." yelled Cilan while snapping his fingers."Use with Solar Beam!"

The two moves collided, causing smoke to cover the entire battlefield.Holding their breath, both trainers waited for the smoke to clear up showing the outcome.As the smoke cleared, it showed Simisage on the ground close to fainting while Sceptile was still standing, barely having taken any damage.

"Sceptile now finish it!Leaf Blade and Quick Attack combo!" Sceptile ran towards Simisage with inhuman speed while the blades on its arms were glowing green.It attacked Simisage, causing a mini explosion after a few seconds.

"Simisage is unable to continue! The winner is Sceptile! Which means the match goes to Ash!" the ref yelled raising the flag towards Ash.

"Hooray! Great work out there Sceptile! shouted Ash towards his Pokemon. Sceptile! it said while grinning before Ash returned it to its pokeball.

"You were great out there Simisage. Take a good rest" Cilan said whilst recalling Simisage to its pokeball. After that, he started walking towards Ash. 

"Great battle Ash! Even though I lost,I'm glad I lost to you." "Heheh don't sweat it Cilan. I had the time of my life." replied Ash.

The both of them walked out of the battlefield, only to be greeted by Serena, Clemont, Bonnie and Iris.

"Hey Iris long time no see!" Ash said. "Nice to see you too but you're still such a little kid." Iris replied smirking happily.

"Hey I am not a little kid you're a little kid!" Ash answered. Not long after they started arguing(again =_=).

"The sweet flavour of old friends meeting is beautiful! You know what this calls for..." "Oh no." Ash and Iris said in unison.

"It's evaluation time!"

"You know what, just be quite Cilan. Nobody wants to hear you anyway." Iris said while dragging Cialn off.

Ash, Serena, Clemont and Bonnie sweatdropped. "Well that was...awkward..." said Clemont. "I couldn't agree more." replied Bonnie shaking her head while laughing slightly. 

"Anyway congrats on winning your battle Ash!" said Serena.

"Thanks Serena!" replied Ash.

"CONGRATS ASH!" a surprisingly loud voice yelled from behind Ash.

"Who's that? Oh hey May and thanks!" said Ash after turning around to see May,Max and Dawn."Dawn you're here too?!"

"Of course! I wouldn't miss this opportunity!" said Dawn while they both did their signature high-five.

"Ash, who are they?" asked Serena slightly jealous that Ash knew other girls besides than Misty and herself.

"Oh yeah! I should introduce you guys. This is May." he said while pointing to the brunette."And her little brother,Max." signalling for them to say hello. "They travelled with me in Hoeen along with Brock. "And this Dawn. She travelled with me throughout Sinnoh. "Guys, this is Serena, Clemont and his little sister,Bonnie." "They travelled with me in the Kalos region."

"Nice to meet you!"

"Why don't we all go to get our rooms to stay in?" Ash suggested.

"Sure!"

As they were about to ask Nurse Joy for their rooms. They heard someone calling out,

"Ash~!!!"

A.N. Ash spent the past week training with his Pokemon so don't ask me why he was so strong.Anyway stay tuned for another chapter! Baii! ~Speedy
