Demons - Lore Entry

Demons are the creatures of hell, often deformed and bloodthirsty for blood. They are carnal sins and desires of all races. They were created by Shagath, The Evil God Dragon, who was banished into the depths of hell - Sha'Miasa, The Realm of Eternal Flames and Damned Souls - and trapped there by Hope and Four Divine Dragon-Goddess. He was originally the God-Dragon of the old evil empire.

Demons take all sort of shapes and forms. From the most hideous of beasts to child-like cute bodies or beautiful women and attractive men. Not every demon is simply a killer and murderer, some of the demons are even summoned as familiars for the mages and usually don't cause too much trouble for their summoner in fear of being sent back to Sha'Miasa or killed.

Demons have a few ways to enter the mortal world. One of them is being summoned by mage and bounded as familiar. Second is by rifts, where magic cause fractures in veil between two worlds. Third is by a mages who cannot control their powers, their body may get possessed if by accident they'll try to reach for dark power that whispers sweet promises. Fourth is by demon invasion, when one of the Demon Lords is powerful enough to tear a hole in the veil and hold it for as long as they're not defeated.

Demons' Races :

Imps - Lesser Demon. Child-sized demon that looks a lot like human. A few difference may be skin color, sharper teeth, bat-like wings and spade tail. They're the happy and curious type of demon. While not powerful they may learn spells from others easily. Many mages train their imps. A few more powerful ones may gift their familiar imp with an Emptiness Flask, which imp may use to steal mana from enemy mages, preventing them from casting. Imps love to mess around with people, they usually don't mean any harm. It's also not uncommon for an imp to fall in love with their summoner if they are given a lot of affection and time.

Cerberus - Lesser Demon. Dog-like beast with three heads. All three heads have their own minds and cooperate at attacking enemies. They can either attack with their powerful jaws or even breath fire at their enemies. Most cerberus type demons are the size of the large wolf. If they are summoned they mostly serve as guard dogs, who can be very loyal to their summoner. In most cases the cerberus will sacrefice itself rather than let their summoner die.

Maniac - Lesser Demon. Maniacs are shaped like humans and can be both male or female ( or even the third one ). Their skin goes from light pink to fiery red tone. They have chains around their forearms and legs, which their use to attack. The most disturbing thing about them is that they laugh right in your face. Their glowing red eyes with no irises or eyelids stare you in the face with madness as a large smile made of incredibly sharp teeth spread across their face. No matter if it's you damaging them or them taking bite out, they always laugh and find enjoyment in both receiving and dealing damage. Veins around their bodies glow in a red color. Maniacs are not restrained sexually in any way... Much like other demons their offspring will always be a tiny maniac ( unless other demon is a second participany ). They might be summoned and they will listen to their summoner but they have their... quirks.

Succubus / Incubus - Demon. Race of demons who feed off of lust and life energy. They like to play around with their victims in dream world or mess around a bit in a real one. In most cases when they'll find a suitable target whose life energy is tasty they won't leave that person. They're doomed for eternal life with the demon of lust, as the demon often takes away part of their humanity and doesn't let them go. They are very lustful demons of interesting reproduction capabilities. The child will always be a lust demon, no matter the race they've used for reproduction. Only difference might be the way child will look physically and minor mental changes.

Tormentor - Demon. A human-shaped beast. It's a very tall human-shaped demon who enjoys dealing pain even more than maniacs. They are made just for that. They are armed with very long claws, which they can ignite to increase the pain. Their bodies are covered in spikes which they can shoot out in an area around them. They are eyeless but they sense an enemy in front of them. Their teeth are razor-sharp and are not just a decoration. If they manage to catch someone they'll drag them to their own lair where they will torturem until the person dies or the tormentor gets bored of their screams and wants to hear diffrent.

Lilim - Demon. Much like a succubus but with much greater power. Lilims are matrons. They are succubus who prefered to suck the life out of their beloved instead of bounding them. They reached high magic status and had many demon spawns of her own. Lilims like to feast upon human souls but the live of deprived pleasure by killing their beloved caused them to also like causing pain in many diffrent way. They like to whisper sweet nothigness just to suck the soul out of a man with a single kiss when he gets caught.

Destroyer - Demon. A large minotaur-like demon. It has a pair of large horns on it's head that's human-like but with skull mask. They're massive, easily towering over every other race. They don't have hands, instead they have huge and heavy spike-like appendages. They can charge throught enemy lines and even cause minor earthquake around them if they'll use their strenght to pound the earth with their massive arms.

Pit Lord - Great Demon. Demons who are the highest of the status among others control huge pits of fire where other demons live. They are huge and have dragon-like heads with pink skin and large horns. Their bodies are massive and they usually support themselves with their left arm while carrying broken sword in right. They are heavily armored and can gather flames from their bodies to cast a powerful exploding fireball. Their broken swords may seem not dangerous, but until the moment they strike down when they use full strenght and many curses put on their shattered blades.
