Chapter 6
You stumbled around the department store, Angel’s hand wrapped tightly around your wrist as he dragged you along. You tried to not run into the people with their heads bowed towards you, awaiting any questions or anything.
Angel began tossing things towards you and you frantically caught them, knowing these clothes were worth more than a week’s salary. He was muttering strange things, things you didn’t understand.
Suddenly, your eyes landed on a sweatshirt across the store. It was (f/c) and about two sizes bigger than you. The hood had cat ears, and the inside of the hood was (2ndF/c). I looked so soft, and the mannequin wearing it looked to comfortable, if that makes any sense.
“I mean, lace might look good on you, but then again I don’t think you’ll be able to wear it for a day without damaging it. Perhaps sequins… but then again, you’ll probably never stop playing with them… YN? Are you listening?” Your head perked towards him.
“Um… Angel?” you asked meekly. With your arms still full of expensive clothing that would be very uncomfortable, you motioned towards the sweatshirt. He looked over at it, seeing stars in your eyes. He raised an eyebrow at you.
“No.”
“But-”
“No, YN. I’m buying, so I get to choose. Okay?” You sighed and nodded. With one last longing look at the sweatshirt, you turned around and followed Angel as he continued to insult your fashion sense.
Eventually, your arms got so tired that you were forced to hand off all of the clothing to a nearby waiting maid. She hauled them away to put them in a cart and followed the two of you around. After what felt like hours, you were finally, finally done shopping.
“And so,” concluded Angel. “You shall wear these clothes from now on, and if I see you in another one of your stupid jumpers I’m going to burn them all.” You looked at him with a confused look. You couldn’t tell if he was joking or not. “Give me your phone. I have to give you my number to contact me.”
“Angel, I don’t have a phone.” Those five words made his face fall into a horrified and appalled look.
“What!? How! How can you possibly not have a phone?
“Dude, Kat and I are broke. He had a phone, but it got shattered when he was almost hit by a car.” Angel tapped his foot against the marble floors, his brain ticking away with annoyed thoughts.
“Fine! We have one more stop to complete.” Dragging you back to his car, Angel waited impatiently for the maids and butlers to shove everything into the trunk and back seat. Finally you were ready to go.
The two of you pulled into the parking lot of a Best Buy. You were extremely confused for a moment, but stayed silent. You were afraid of what Angel would do if you stepped out of line. The blonde yanked you into the store and went straight to the counter, where a half asleep and confused college student was nodding off.
Angel slammed a hand against the counter, making him jump.
“You! Do you all carry (newest phone)?” The confused boy shook his head. “What the hell kind of establishment is this? You don’t even have (2nd newest phone), do you? You are all such old news!” He grabbed your wrist, the warmth of his hand making goosebumps run up your arm. “Come on, YN. I’ll just order you a phone and it’ll be here overnight.”
You wanted to pull away from his grasp. You didn’t like him touching you. It was uncomfortable. It was hot, it was… it was too much. You barely spoke to people unless you had known them for at least a week, but this guy you met literally yesterday and now you were getting married!
This was all Katsuro’s fault. If he hadn’t fucking pushed you to say yes, you wouldn’t be here. You would be at home, doing homework while watching Netflix out of the corner of your eye.
But NOOOOOOOOOOOO. Your stupid brother owed a lot of people a lot of money and now you were scamming a rich bastard out of a lot of money. You were terrified to find out when the actual LN girl was found.
They might even kill you!
Meh, as if your life was worth much. The amount of clothes in the back seat of the lambo was worth more than all of the money you had had in your lifetime combined!
So what!? Your life was important! Katsuro needed you!
So? He’d just always get you into more debt, all the way until one of you died. It didn’t matter anyway. Something bad was going to happen.
You sighed as Angel dragged you out of the Best Buy and into the lambo. He was hissing things under his breath as he began driving. You just took a deep breath.
