February 12th

Madran and Suga woke up after staying up 'til 11, just messing around and quietly partying. However, Saturday was still a school day, so they had to get ready to go.

"Yeah, so, we go back in today?"

"Yep!"

Chicory, who had been sleeping in Madran's room, wagged his tail after hearing that. He then was filled with a sudden need for food, and ran off to his food bowl. Madran and Suga all got ready, fed Chicory, and finished their morning routine.

"So, you do this everyday?"

"Yeah. Um, wasn't your phone blowing up?"

"It was mom, being worried. She's, well... very anxious."

Madran nodded.

"So, are you excited for gym again?"

"Actually, I don't have that today. I get to do agriculture."

"Yay!"

Elia, who had just awakened, walked over to the coffee pot, taking some coffee and drinking it in silence before talking again.

"Good morning."

"Hi! I'm very glad that I was allowed to stay over here for the night. Thank you!"

"Yep. I remember Saturdays back in America being part of the weekend."

"Eh, America's a softie when it comes to school."

Madran, Suga, and Elia chuckled.

"Yeah. I moved here with Travert and Madran when she was, um, four."

"Wow! Well, I'm glad that you guys have survived here."

Suga went to get her hair done up and get some makeup on, as usual.

"So, does she like her hair spiky?"

"Yeah! Her persona reflects that. I mean, the part of the head that isn't covered by the bowl."

"Yep. I kinda like her persona better. Wasn't it, um, Bubonia? It's like a feminine version of Bubonic."

"Yeah, but Nightingale's got a scanner built in with her candle!"

Madran and Elia shared small details about the personas, and Suga walked back out. Her hair was back to its spiky glory, and she had makeup much like Bubonia.

"Um, are we playing dress up?"

"Hey! It looks nice."

"I swear, you look more and more like those Rock N' Roll stars each day I see you."

Suga giggled.

"Aw, thank you. I'm flattered."

Madran and Suga then finished up their preparations and went to school. However, Sheila was mysteriously absent, and they discussed it during lunch.

"So, have you texted her?"

Suga put her phone down.

"Just have."

Madran and Suga waited for a few minutes whilst eating, but got no response back.

"Hmm. Maybe, her family had an accident?"

"Or, she had a gig?"

"Hmm."

Madran noticed one of the school staff wandering around. It was the vice principal. She went up to talk to him.

"Hey, where is Sheila?"

"You would be her friend, right? Well, her grandfather had a heart attack, so she was absent."
