February 17
It had been a day since the quite horrifying battle with Shadow Proctora. Suga had kept Madran caught up on the state of Proctora, saying that 'he's very sad and keeps saying that he's sorry.' Madran knew that they were successful, and went to call Suga again.
"Um..."
Madran eventually found Suga's contact, calling her.
"Hello?"
A much more masculine voice came on over the line.
"Uh..."
"It's Herupā, Suga's dad. I would assume you're Madran?"
"Yep! Um, where is she?"
"She's talking with Mr. Kalis."
"Ok! Let her know that I want to speak with her soon!"
"Gotcha."
Herupā hung up, and Madran went to the Velvet Room.
"Um, Margaret, where's Philemon?"
Madran looked around to see that there was no trace of Philemon anywhere.
"Hmm. He said that he was going to a special place. I think that he's going to meet up with Igor, and discuss another visitor to his Velvet Room."
"Um, isn't Igor that guy who you work for?"
"I used to. After the last visitor accomplished his goal, I said my farewells and left."
"Who was the last visitor?"
"Yu Narukami. He wielded the persona Izanagi, and had access to the wild card ability."
"Isn't that the ability to use a bunch of personas?"
"Yes."
"What did he do?"
"Ages ago, a lone goddess, Izanami, created a world beyond this one, behind our TV screens. It was to reflect the desires of humanity. However, somewhere along that route, she became obsessed with only fulfilling lies that people would hide behind to keep themselves distracted from the truth."
"Yikes. Where does Yuu come in?"
"Several thousands of years later, this boy was on his way to live with an uncle due to his parent's jobs."
"Oh. Yikes. Izanami must have been bored."
"Yes, indeed. She disguised herself as a gas station worker, and gave Yu and two others the power to enter her world. One of those people, Adachi, used it for rather... murder-y means."
"Um?"
"He grew bored, like the goddess, and by chance, pushed someone into the TV world. This lady was killed by the shadows in there, and resurfaced in the real world in a very cruel way."
"What happened? Was she all cut up?"
"No. She was hanging from the telephone poles, dead. This happened right when Yuu was starting school, and messed up quite a lot of things."
"What happened next?"
Madran was getting quite engrossed in this supernatural murder mystery, and wanted more of it.
"Adachi pushed a girl who went to Yu's school, Saki. She knew about the lady who was killed, and Adachi was assigned to ask her some questions."
"Oh no. So, she went in, and died?"
"Yes. Yu was pressed by his newly made friend, Yosuke, who was quite popular in the town, to investigate what might of happened. They also dragged another accomplice of Yosuke's, Chie, and in they went."
