"I got it, " Iris yells as she set the ball up to a kid by the name of Lance. He jumps up in the air and spikes down the ball onto the other side. Everyone on their team cheers the the point was being added. "You got this Paul." Paul nods getting ready to serve the ball.
"Serving 10-6." He hits the ball and the game continues on.
"It's coming at you Dawn!" Dawn looks up to see the ball being pulled by gravity down towards her. She puts her hands together and hits the ball up high." Everyone looks up trying to pinpoint here the ball would fall next.
"I got this," says Paul as he waits for the ball to come down and lightly bops it over to the other side. The game continues on till they reach the winning game score.
"And that's game! Everyone sub out!" The students who were on the court steps off as the waiting students come on to play. "Good game you guys."
"Nice game out there," Paul comments to Dawn.
"Oh thanks, you were pretty good too,' Dawn replies a bit flustered. He nods with a smirk. There was an unusual silence between then. They sit next to each other watching the others start their game. "Hey, follow me." Paul gets up from his seat and goes to a corner where his bag was placed. Dawn was a bit confused but still got up and followed after him. As he digs in his bag, Dawn stands up right behind him. He pulls out a smaller bag and hands it to her. "Happy Valentine's Day." She gasps, looking into the bag and her eyes widen more. She pulls out a necklace with a matching bracelet and her face softens.
"Thank you Paul," she exclaims hugging him hesitantly.
"No problem, Valentine." He replies.
"Y'know, in actuality I've been wanting for you ask me to be your Valentine."
"Wait what?" she realizes then what she blurted out.
"Nothing!"
"You watching me Iris," Trip confidently yells as he hits the ball over.
"What is there to watch," she replies with a smirk and some sass.
"You'll see. Remember our deal though." Iris thinks back to the random deal he dragged her into. "If I hit every ball good without getting it out of bounce, you'll have to take my request. If I miss one, I'll take up your request."
"...Deal."
"I think I'm regretting that decision now,"
"What was that," he teases.
"Nothing, pay attention to your game man!"

Iris giggles as a pouting blond walks out the gym with her, defeated.
"You're the one who made the bet not me," Iris comments with a bit more of sympathy.
"It's fine..well, what is your request?" Iris paused and starts to think.
"How about getting me a snack. Does that sound good." He smiles a little.
"Sounds good. Deal." They shake hands on it. They continue to walk to their next class. "Hey Trip, why did you suddenly make that bet for. What did you want me to do so badly." He sucks in air then quickly lets out a cough. "It's not something I wanted you to do badly but, I actually wanted to ask you to be my...Valentine." Iris stares at him with disbelief. "Really? You know I don't like Valentine's Day." "I know, I know but this day is not just for couples, friends can be Valentines too. I kind of feel stupid for doing that though." "Don't feel that way, it's nothing too serious. In the end we're still friends." He looks at her and smiles. "You're right, thanks." She smiles at him and gives him a silent hug before going to class. He couldn't help but blush ever so slightly.
