Cherry POV
The girl had curly blonde hair, she seemed nice, but she needs my permission to play with Doughnut.
I cleared my throat and the girls head snapped to me, I smiled. The girl, might I add, is pretty, really pretty, she just looks so innocent and kind, let's hope her personality is like that. I swear if she turns out to be a complete bitc- a very mean person, then I'm kicking her out.
"Hi, you must be Cherry"
"Yep, that's me" I said yep popping the 'p', I smiled at her. Also, That's So Raven anyone?
"I'm Flo, nice to meet you"
"Nice to meet you too. One question Flo: how did you get in my house?"
"Oh, I'm sorry- erm- well, you see, my parents now work with your dad and they were coming here to meet the rest of the family he spoke of. My parents brought me along because they wanted me to 'bond' and become friends with you guys" she rushed, I feel as if this girl is one of those people that's too nice.
"It's fine. I see you've met my little Doughnut" She sighed in relief.
"So, this is your kitten's name, she's so cute"
"Since your parents brought you here with them, why don't we start 'bonding'?" my mum always says I'm good at making friends, sure I don't like to hang around too many people, but I guess having a small little group is good enough.
"Follow me," I said to her, she just nodded, I can see right through her, she's shy at first but once she's comfortable, she sure is something.
We headed towards my room.
"So, why don't we get to know each other first? Let me introduce myself in a more proper and friendlier way, I'm Cherry and I like cats" I finished off with a smile, I like to keep it rather vague.
"I'm Flo, I'm shy at first, you can probably tell and I'm not as 'preppy' as I may look, I'm basic common girl, it's just my parents telling me to 'dress nice' to make a good first impression" she made quote marks with her fingers.
"I think you're a bit panicky, I knew you were cool"
"So, tell me what you're like"
"Let me summarise things for you. So, I'm that person who could be walking so nicely and just fall out of nowhere. I love sports but I'm a couch potato. Whenever I show off, I embarrass myself"
"I just love how you vague you're being" she laughed. I'd rather be honest about my clumsy nature, it's called making friends.
"Your turn" I replied.
"I'm not the smartest, may not look like it. I'm independent, also bad at making friends. I'm shy. I prefer to stay away from the popular group of people at school- not that I don't like them or anything, it's just their judgemental stares really make me uncomfortable so there you have it" She smiled at me.
"Well, I will be needing a new partner in crime, I have a feeling that we'll become good friends, I can help with your confidence because true bad-ass speak their mind, we don't think because we aren't afraid" Flo looked around my room. To be quite honest, I'm not bad-ass, I'm actually a loser that likes to think they're a bad-ass.
Her jaw dropped when she saw my superhero wall. "Iron Man!" she squealed.
"I love superheroes so much and finally there's another girl who actually, genuinely likes superheroes!" I'm glad she didn't judge me like the a-hole twin of mine. I remember when I complimented the wall with pictures and posters and bits of the comic strips and all he said was 'dude, you're so f-ed up for a girl, it would be much easier if you just pretended to like it' and he walked away, I ignored him for about two days.
