Chapter 29: Greg's Awake

Cherry POV 

He was awake, in front of my face smiling, oh and I didn't forget about the marks on his face and body. I ran out of the room, my eyes watering with happiness, someone pinch me or punch me in the face hit me across the face, tell me giraffes aren't real or something because this better not be a dream. 

"Mum, dad!" I yelled mum jumped from her sleep, waking up then she saw my face.

"Cherry, pie what is it?"

"He's awake, mum, dad I saw it with my own eyes, he was smiling and he called me a bitch, he's awake" my mum got up immediately and shook my dad awake. "Jerry, wake up, now" yeah don't laugh because my dad's name is Jerry, it's actually Jerald but it was too posh for him. 

"Dad wake up" I yelled in his ear. He jumped "what, what is it?"

"Greg's awake" as soon as I said that we all ran to Greg's room, who was just casually sitting there reading some magazine with some naked woman on...typical, he just woke up and sees a magazine and starts looking at naked woman, totally something Greg would do, but I didn't care, not even mum or dad.

"Greg, put that magazine down and be prepared for what we're about to do son" my mum started off. "What are you...?" Before he could finish all of us hugged him, not so tight because it was obvious he was still in pain from the accident but he still acted the same old asshole Greg.

We broke away and my mum started crying with happiness. After she finished saying things to Greg this is exactly what he said and I quote "Cherry, you need to take a shower you stink like shit" he earned a playful slap from my mum and a telling off which is basically about him swearing.

"Call the doctor, I think they need to be here when the patient wakes up" dad said, and I followed his orders.  I ran to find some doctor, then I came across the rude one I threw coffee at. Oh well, this is for Greg. 

"Hey, doc" he looked at me and glared, why do the hot young doctors have to be total dicks, I'm not even lying. "Yes miss Carter" he reminds me of Christian Grey, but a less attractive and younger version . 

"My brother, he...he's awake" this just feels weird. He better not piss me off because I can keep a grudge when I want to, so he pissed me off at the wrong time so don't judge me if I'm being mean and stubborn because you have to admit all of us keeps grudges at some point, whether it's a boy or a girl. 

"Okay, I'll be there in a sec" he rolled his eyes but he didn't think I saw it. Well someone wants to hold a grudge. I had to fight to urge to say calm down.

I ran to where the guys were. 

"Wake up" I started shaking them awake, Ash woke up first, then Luke, Brett well he was still sleeping or pretending because he doesn't want to talk to me, I'm just gonna slap him. Oh well he it goes.....The prick caught my hand and was up all that time.

"Why are you waking us up Cherry" Ash threw his headphones at me, I ducked because I saw it coming. "Greg is awake"

"What!" Luke, Brett and Ash shouted and they all ran to Greg's room. I guess I have to go to Caleb's and Jake's room and tell them myself. 

I knocked on the door to Jake's room. I heard a faint 'come in' so I did, "Jake's awake" he got out of bed and got his crutches, I forgot to mention that Jake is gonna have surgery on his knee, apparently something happened to it but he should be wearing a cast and crutches for about two months, if it's not healed by then, well I guess he'll have to wear it for longer. 

I went to Caleb's room next as soon as Jake got moving to Greg's room. Caleb was up but he's just in the hospital for a few more days, "Caleb?" "Mhmm", he's awake, probably on his phone, he normally pretends he's asleep when the hot nurse comes so that she thinks he's resting instead of staying up all night watching YouTube videos. 

"Greg's awake, you coming?"

"Yeah" he's fine because he didn't get the impact that bad, they're just gonna run a few checks on him and then discard his from the hospital. 

We were all in his room, including Flo's mum, Greg was chatting to all of them and the others were just listening, and now they're laughing about something. Then I realized something, I need to find Justin. I haven't seen him in about a week. 

I ran out of the room and legged it to the place we met, we were both upset and broken. There he was sitting at the top of the hill, hidden behind the trees. Looking out into the night. Yeah....it's midnight. 

"Hey Justin" I sat down next to him, he looked at me, gave me a small smile. "Hey Cherry, everything alright?" 

"Yeah, my brother he just woke up" his smile dropped "Then what the fuck are you doing here?!? Go to your brother, if he's awake you should value your time with him" he said.

"I did, and then I told everyone, I wanted to find you because I told you how I felt, even though it wasn't the cleverest idea, but I needed to get it out, although you were a total stranger to me" I laughed a little, I still don't know why though. I just seem to be becoming nicer. 

"And I kinda also thought that you should meet my brother, you could do with a friend" I suggested. He smiled a little. 

"Well, I have no one and it's sweet and all but I need to keep an eye on my sister, I don't have time for friends, I just want my sister to be alright, she's only four. She barely met our parents. Because on the day she was born dad died. and a few years later mum was in a coma, so I need to be there for her and watch out for her because no one wants us"

"What if I told you that my parents love to help people even though they may be a bit crazy, and can be stupid sometimes, but would do anything for needy kids" I looked at him. 

"I don't want to trouble anymore people Cherry"

"It's not troubling, it's what good people do, it's called caring, come on, you should, it's not nice you being alone, looking after your sister"

"Fine"

A/N:

Took me long I know, more then a week, at least it wasn't a month, and this time it wasn't the vampire diaries, it was actually YouTube, and stuff like that. But anyway I'm not going on about my personal life and just yap on because some of you may find that annoying. 

Anyway apart from that I think we should band have a nice be happy and have nice smiles on our faces because I finally gave you a chapter! And 50 shades of grey came out, too bad I can't watch it. Don't know about you lot but my school just kept going on about it and saying dirty things about it.
