  Brett POV

Cherry is strange, really, strange. Meeting her today was probably one of the most eventful meetings I have ever had with anyone, in terms of annoying her. There's just something about her that makes me want to make fun of her. She strongly believes I walked out of some typical teenage novel (alliteration right there, English Language at its finest, my friends).

I don't get her, seriously though, who wants to be called Cherry - although it is quite a tasty fruit (for all you dirty-minded people, I do not mean it in that way) - but still. Anyway, Greg told me her real name, which explains the whole Cherry thing - okay, maybe it doesn't but you can see how the nickname came about. Her real name is Charlie but, according to Greg, for some unknown reason whenever she is called that, she gets really annoyed. And you know what? That's exactly what I'm going to do (as in, call her Charlie, to rile her up for my own pure entertainment).

Would you look at that! Just as I was thinking of her, she popped up!

There she stood, with a rusty blue bike in her hands.

This will be fun for sure. One) I'm at the skate park with my friends, which will make it even better in terms of embarrassing the heck out of her. Two) My friends will probably join in and embarrass her further, but that's only if they're not too busy checking out the quiet girl from chemistry who sits at the front, but is barely in class, and manages to somehow come out with the top mark in exams and tests. Her name's Flo, and let me just say this, she is good at chemistry (for all you dirty-minded people out there. I mean the Chemistry that's taught in school, not the whole romantic kind, you know, the one where you do experiments and most of the time you have no idea what you're doing, so it fails badly. Anyway, I genuinely mean that she's good at the subject- in fact, she's great, she's barely ever in class yet always comes out top in the class).

When I had finished landing my 360, I finally looked at Cherry directly, obviously gawking at my epic landing.

"Hey Brett, the brunette over there is gawking at you, I think she likes you" Luke, my ultimate BFF for life, commented. I rolled my eyes, I know she doesn't like me, she made that clear. They don't know her like I do - technically I don't know her so well, I mean, I only just met her today, proceeded to annoy her with my presence and 'painfully typical' personality, courtesy of Cherry of course.

"She's not gawking at me, she's gawking at the trick I just did, trust me"

"Dude, how do you know? A lot of the time girls are gawking at you because let's face it, you're really hot" Caleb decided to input.

"Not this one guys. Like I said, trust me, I know her"

"Hey Luke, isn't that Flo from Chemistry? You know the girl that Jake has a monster crush on" Ash decided to shout out loud, idiot. But, that didn't stop us from laughing at Jake's sudden redness in the cheeks.

"I don't have a crush on her! We only did one experiment together and got along well. Sure, we ended up talking too much and it ended in detention, but that does not mean I like her! We're just, you know, mutual friends. In fact, acquaintances! We're acquaintances!" he, oh so quickly defended. Yep, he's certainly into her like she's clearly into him.

Now, let me introduce you to the four musketeers in training- as I, of course, am the head musketeer. Let's start with Luke, like I said, my ultimate BFF for life. He's a different type of normal, I'm starting to question his sanity, the guy is a little boy trapped in a tall seventeen-year-old boys body. He's immature, yes, but that doesn't mean he isn't wise. He's wise like the owl in Winnie the Pooh.
