Ch5 pt 2:The Visit

Deckerd

I was asleep by Emily keeping my distance from her, I fell off the bed and heard Emily's voice.

"Deckerd?" she said. I groaned

"Mmmmm...fuck life..." I said waking up slowly

"Are you ok? You fell" she asked

"Yeah...it happens a lot..." I replied. She smiled and got up slowly.

"did you sleep well at least?" she asked

"Mmm...more or less..." I replied. I heard Mama's voice.

"MIHO BREAKFAST!" she shouted

"Coming mama!"I said getting up

"We also have a couple of guests, "Mama said I saw Emily look at my coat, I got nervous and grabbed it going downstairs with her.

"Really Mama? Who?"I asked

"Mister and Misses Gilbert" Mama replied.

"It's been a while you two..." Breckin said. His wife smiled holding her stomach.

"Indeed it has, "Emily said. I wasn't To thrilled seeing them.

"Oh, great...it's you two..." I said glaring

"Come, sit down Miho."Mama offered. I sighed and took a seat rubbing my eyes tiredly.

"Are you ok Miho?"Mama asked

"Just tired mama Mmmmm what did you want to talk about anyways?..."I asked

"Just seeing how you two are doing," Maddy said

"Could you tell the fucking Church to fuck off then?"I asked angrily.

"MIHO LANGUAGE!"Mama shouted

"The Church isn't in our control" replied Maddy

"Sorry, Mama...but aren't you both gods?"I asked. maddy's eyes glowed, I saw Mama frozen with the kids except for Emily And me.

"We are, but we can't interfere with Mortals if we did it can come with serious consequences," Maddy replied

"I call that bullshit..."I said crossing my arms and glaring

"It's no-"I interrupted her

"The Church is not Mortals...there fucking monsters who should be banished from here for that they fucking did...it's that simple," I said as Emily looked at me.

"My point is Deckerd, we can't interfere, "Maddy said

"Bulshi-"Breckin interrupted me.

"It isn't boy... so watch it"

"if it's bullshit. then dont complain if something goes wrong" Maddy said holding her stomach.

"Whatever...what else are you two here for?" I asked

"To see if you both were ok," Breckin said.

"There's something you're hiding," I said

"There's nothing else," Breckin said. I watched Emily take the dirty dishes to wash them. as time was unfrozen, I glared at Maddy and Breckin.

"Whatever you say...if that's all then by," I said as they started to leave. I heard dishes break, I got up.

"Emily?!" I ran in the kitchen, seeing her on the floor, her skin embedded with cracks and going unstable fast, she groaned. I picked her up with my coat and ran to my room laying Emily on my bed, noticing a cross was embedded in her skin. I ran to the kitchen grabbing a knife, then running into Mama's sewing room getting a needle and thread, running back upstairs to my room. I saw Emily's skin barely there, I started to cut the cross out she started to scream in pain. I finished cutting the cross out and went in my satchel grabbing a syringe, injecting it in her chest with it. She gasped and started to stabilized I patched her up and started to rub her back calming her down.

"nmm..."
"Easy Emily...easy...."I said softly

"Miho is Emilia ok?"Mama asked" I sighed and nodded.

"Yeah...she's ok mama" I replied. Mama nodded and walked out. I sighed again and thought to myself; how in the fuck...did you get a cross in your skin..." Emily opened her eyes and smiled slightly

"H-hey," she said, she smiled more purring.

"Heh...hey..." I said slightly smiling.

"AWWW...so cute" Victa said. I glared at her

"What?" asked Victa. I saw Owen put his hand on her shoulder as she blushed.

"What's happening here, "Owen asked

"Emily blacked out and her prince charming saved her" replied Victa

"Heh...good for you two," Owen said. I looked at Emily seeing her blushing, I pulled my coat slightly revealing my revolver to Owen and Victa.

"Aaand just like that I'm gone, "Owen said leaving my room. I saw the kids walk up to my room repeating an old song from when I was a child.

"Deckerd and Emily sitting in a tree K.I.S.S.I.N.G" I clutched my fist, seeing Emily get up and run off. I left my room walking out, slamming the door. Hours went by, I saw Emily being chased by a few men to the pond. I ran to grab her as she swung a punch, I caught her first fast before she could knock my jaw out of place....again.

"Easy tiger..."I said. she hugged me tight as we both heard the men shout.

"I THINK IT WENT THIS WAY!" I saw the men run past, I looked at Emily. Then took her to the market, she was frightened, almost shaking as we walked.

"No need to worry... was safe now..." I said reassuring her, she nodded calming down.

"Thank you," she said.

"No problem." I smiled slightly. She looked at the sunset as her eyes lit up in amazement like she never saw it before.
