Maddison
Late at night, Breckin woke me up.his voice was unsteady and very worried.
“Maddison you need to hide, my Father is here and he wants to kill you”
I hid behind a huge rock scared shaking seeing his Father burst in knocking Breckin out and dragging him back, I was scared. I started to follow them the best I could into the palace. I went into the courtroom and looked through the cellar bars, I held my stomach and slide my hand through the bar trying to open the hatch, but it wouldn't work. I saw Breckin curled up in the corner.
“Breckin…”
I saw him open his eyes but not saying anything. I grabbed a small pebble throwing it at him hitting his arm as he looked up seeing me.
“W-what the…” he said confused
“I'm getting you out of here my dragon”
“No don't Maddison. Please I...you'll possibly hurt yourself and our unborn trying” he said sounding scared
“B-but Breckin”
“Please Maddison. I'll find a way out on my own my angel… I promise” he said. I teared up looking at him.
“I miss you though…”
“Please… don't cry… I miss you too…” he moved his hand slightly as a plant grew out of the ground in front of me, as it grew a bit big its leaf held my cheek as if Breckin was holding me.
“But please Maddison...be strong for me...be strong for our child”
The plant wiped my tear away as I nodded and leaned my head gently on the plant's leaf seeing him smile slightly.
“I love you Breckin…”
“I love you to Maddison...now and forever more” I heard the main door open as I hid still listening in on them.
“ Are you ready to be a good prince and son?” asked his mom
“I don't know, you gonna listen to your son and be a good mother,” Breckin said. I look slightly in seeing his mom stab him with a shadow blade, but he absorbed it.
“YOU UNGRATEFUL BRAT” she looked at his father knowing I was near.
“You insubordinate ungrateful piece of shit of a mother…”Breckin said angrily.
“When we get ahold of that slave, we will kill her and your child”
I saw something appear in Brackins' hand as he had it behind his back.at the same time a few guards grabbed me and threw me in the cells with Breckin right in front of him. I held my stomach scared and protectively.
“Think of it like this you two...what group has stronger authority then you so far…” Breckin said as his eyes weren't normal. His mother growled, I got picked up by the hair, and felt the coldness of her blade.
“DROP THE ITEM” she shouted
“Oh… I don't have it now...but they received it…” he said as he looked up. the door burst opened as a man walked through with ten men.
“Gridiron Gilbert and Verona Gilbert, by the law of the codex page four paragraph three. You are suspended of your duties as Eden and the Enchantress” said the stranger.
“NO!” his mother shouted as she put the blade closer to my neck.
“You sneaky prick…” said Gridiron. He tried to use his powers but they wouldn't work. Breckin surrounded me in a barrier just as Verona was gonna slice my neck. I was scared, I elbowed Verona and ran to Breckin hugging him tightly.
“You are hereby sentenced to an indefinite suspension and locked in tortoise for a mere four hundred million years, anything you say can be and will be used against you, by the order of the wardens and our new Eden and lord...Breckin Gilbert” said the warden
“NO! YOU CAN'T DO THIS!” shouted Verona I was still scared hugging Breckin and feeling the babies first kick. I looked at the stranger and at Gridiron.
“Morrigan, have your men escort these two out of here” the stranger demanded. she nodded, Breckin held me closer
“I'm sorry Maddison” he sounded worried
“As long as we're safe Breckin it's fine”
I saw Gridiron give me a look.
“This is not the end... I will return to end you” he vanished as the wardens left.
“Are you alright though Maddison”
“I'm alright Breckin…”
“I have to go help someone, will you be alright?” he asked
“Yes love I'll be fine” I held my stomach as he hugged me tightly but gently. He carried me to his room and laid me down on the bed. Rubbing my stomach gently.
“Sleep well, Maddison…” I grew drowsy and very tired he started to stroke my hair and my wings relaxing me...I felt his soft hands rub my back as he started to sing a lullaby for me and the baby, I purred and eventually fell asleep listening to him sing
“Hush little angel sleep very well I'll be here by your side, and if you start to feel lonely, just remember to look at the moon”
I feel him stroke my hair and he started to teleport away.
