Ch6pt3 : Edens Newborn Twins

Days past and Maddy was glowing, I smiled letting her rest in bed, she looked at me smiling.

"How's our baby?"I asked.

"Good, Ulysses is coming over to see if the baby is healthy," Maddy said smiling.

"Heh...I'm glad you are my child's mother"I rubbed her stomach gently. I saw two souls in her stomach but one was fading. a knock was on the door was heard.

"That must be Ulysses," Maddy said smiling.

"Um, darling"I looked at her worried...I was gonna lose a child...
"Yes, my love?" Maddy looked at me, I opened the door.

"N-nothing" I looked down.
"Good morning mister and misses Eden."Ulysses  Smiled taking his supplies out.

"Any complications Maddy?" he asked
"Well, the baby has been moving a lot... And it sometimes hurt"she answers. I was so worried. my angel would be crushed if we lost the twins...

"That's a bit normal, I'm gonna do an ultrasound on you if that's ok?" Ulysses said taking a tool out.

"Yes that's ok I'm excited, I wonder if its a girl or boy" Maddy smiled. I couldn't say anything, I didn't want to worry her,

"Are you ok love?"Maddy asked me
"I'm fine love, nothing to worry about, "I said smiling.

Ulysses started to check her stomach smiling, but his expression changed.

"I have good news....but I also have bad news..." he said softly.

"W-what's the bad news," Maddy said worriedly.

"The bad news is your baby. Soul is dying..." Ulysses looked at her and me. My eyes widen, I didn't know it would be that bad...

"w-what!?! What do you mean!!"Maddy teared up. I started to tear up too. She hugged me tightly, I held her close.

"The soul is fading from the baby..." Ulysses answered

"A-and the good news?"I asked
"The good news is you're pregnant with twins Madison..."Ulysses smiled slightly as Maddy started to cry I held her close rubbing her back.

"Easy my angel....easy," said Maddy cried in my arms. I felt her upset but a bit happy.

"Babe...I know it's hard...but I do have a plan...alto ur not gonna like it..."I said.

"I want our babies healthy and alive Breckin...please to save them..." she begged, I nodded.

"When the babies are born...ill give the sick baby a new soul...but he or she will be with a new family..."

"Wouldn't that corrupt the baby?" she asked. I nodded,
"yes but well be able to watch the child grow..."I answered. Maddy looked down.

"What are the genders?"I asked Ulysses. He looked at the ultrasound results and smiled*

"A boy and A girl..." Ulysses answered, I smiled looking at Maddy, she started to smile.

"Dwight...and Apollyon," she said smiling. I hugged her rubbing her stomach,

"I promise Maddy...ill do everything to have our baby's safe and healthy. "I smiled.
She winced holding her stomach.

"Babe? You ok?"I asked
"The twins are kicking hard... too hard" she answered. Ulysses got worried and had me step out for a few moments. He then walked out
"She's going into labor Eden, I need your help," he asked.

My eyes widen, I ran in seeing Maddy sweating and panting. I held her hand,

"It's ok Maddy it's ok, I- just stay calm!"I started to panic, I never have done this before I dont know what to really do.

"Breckin! It's ok...just calm down and hold her hand."Ulysses said I nodded. Holding her hand as she screamed and cursed every word in the book. Hours went by. Maddy was so weak I was told not to use my healing ability on her. Finally. After another hour went by the first twin was born, she was beautiful she had white hair and a brown streak in her bangs,.Maddy was panting heavily screaming in more pain.
Ulysses assistant cleaned Apollyon. I looked at Maddy as she screamed loud in pain. Another hour went by. And Dwight was born, but he didn't cry, nor move. Maddy teared up covering her mouth. Ulysses handed me, Dwight, as I slightly teared up.
"Dont worry, I promise you he'll be ok," I told her. I started to chant softly having me and the baby glow. Maddy started to cry, I concentrated more on Dwight, he than started to fade, I transferred his soul to a woman who had a miscarry, I kissed Dwight's forehead seeing him vanish from my arms...
"Goodbye...Dwight...well always watch you..."I looked down then at Maddy, she was holding Apollyon, crying like a waterfall...I held her close comforting her.hopefully...he'll forgive us...
