After everything that happened to me. After everything Lance did.
And after all that we went through.
I still cared.
I cared about Lance.
And I cared about Allura.
And most importantly, I cared about my best friend.
Keith.
------------------------
I stared out the window of my moms car as she drove me to school.
I was in my usual grumpy mood.
The car stopped and I stepped out, ignoring my mom and slamming the door.
It felt like I was on auto pilot.
I knew how to do these things, without even thinking.
Ever since that night between me and Lance, I could never forgive myself.
Everything hurt.
I cried almost every night.
I called him and texted him.
I was ignored.
I never felt so alone in my life.
Until I saw a very familiar face.
---------------------------------
"Hey, Pidge!"
I turned and I saw Hunk, with Lance.
I gave him a small smile, and slightly waved.
He smiled back at me and hugged Lance.
I turned away and walked off to my locker.
Without thinking, I pushed my way past random students and teachers.
I got to my locker and saw an old friend.
"Hey, Emo."
"What's up, Katie?"
------------------------
After school, me and Keith hung out at my house.
It was great.
I missed having him around.
I told him everything.
And then I started to cry.
I cried and told him how sorry I was for leaving him and pushing him away. And I sobbed on his shoulder.
And when he put his arm around me is when I felt safe again..
