Chapter 3

Jennifer-

Lucy and I made breakfast for everyone and then since Liz, Sam, and Jenna had to leave it was just Lucy the kids and Liam with us. We watched christmas movies all day. Watching christmas movies was a tradition that Josh and I started on Lauren's first christmas. I cuddled against Josh and Lucy against Liam. The kids sat on the floor on top of blankets and pillows and baby Toby was in bed taking a nap.

"Which one's next?" said Liam

"LETS WATCH HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS" exclaimed Lauren

"YES LETS WATCH IT" said Kassy

"Alright Alright whatever the princesses say" said Liam

This was one of my favorite days of the year it was so amazing being with my family and my best friends. Usually Josh and I would be working so we wouldn't get time to spend time with Lucy and Liam but that didn't mean we didn't keep in touch.

-Josh-

Lucy and Liam left a couple hours ago so Jen and I did some cleaning in the kitchen, ate reheated dinner. Afterwards, we put Lauren to bed and went to our room.

"How do you feel?" I said

"About what" she said confused

"Im saying with the baby"

"Pretty great this one might be a bit easier to handle maybe because we've already had experience with Lauren" she smiled

"Yeah maybe this time we won't need to Liz come over and help us feed her" I giggled

"Yeah I think we've got that under control now"

"Jen?"

"Yeah?"

"Have I told you that you are the most amazing woman on earth and that I love you today?"

"Nope"

"Well you are the most amazing woman and mom on earth and I love you so much" I said

"Josh I love you too. I think you're the most amazing dad on this planet" she said and kissed me. It was so amazing her lips on mine just felt right she was the best thing that ever happened to me she gave me Lauren and now she's going to give me another baby.

"Lauren's asleep right" I whispered

"Of course" she said kissing me more passionately

"Are you sure?" i said

"Positive" she said

"Will it hurt the baby?" I said

"Well we did it while I was pregnant with Lauren and she came out perfectly fine" she giggled

"Alright then"

Waking up to Josh was the best thing ever his arms wrapped around my body made me feel protected.

"GoodMorning" I whispered

"GoodMorning beautiful" he said

"Is Lauren up yet?" I asked

"Not sure"

"Well we're butt naked so lets get dressed and go downstairs to have breakfast" I said

"Right lets go"

We showered and got into some cozy clothes because we're packing today to go to my moms house for new years eve and stay there a few days.

We made our way to Lauren's room she looked so beautiful sleeping it feels like just yesterday I was holding her for the first time. She was such a blessing and a little me as Josh called her. She's an outgoing person not timid at all and is really honest her hair is blonde, almost to her waist wavy you could say her eyes green and her smile is so adorable her little dimples when she giggles are the best.

"Wake up princess" whispered Josh in her ear

"No daddy not now" she whined

"Why not?"

"Because its not christmas anymore" she whined

"Sweetie that doesn't matter its almost new years and plus we're flying out tomorrow to see grandma and grandpa so if you don't wake up guess you're not seeing them and Pablo tomorrow" I giggled

"Pablo? I love Pablo he's always licking my face and wants me to play fetch with him"

"Well then better get up we're going to go buy small travel things and maybe just maybe we'll stop by Bellgates and get you your favorite piece of pie" I responded

"Okay okay i'll get up but i'm hungry already"

"Well thats why i'm going to make breakfast for all of us then you'll shower and we'll be on our way" said Josh

"Okay but you promise you're getting me pie right?"

"Alright Lauren we promise" I said

We ate breakfast and got Lauren ready and went to buy a head pillows, coloring books, gum, mints and portable chargers. We drove to Bellgates and got Lauren her favorite apple pie.

"This pie is delicious" said Lauren finishing her plate of pie.

"Is it?" Said Josh laughing

"Mhmm" responded Lauren too busy eating to respond

"Glad you liked it sweetie" I smiled

"Now lets go home and get packing" I said

"Wait mommy can we stop at the pet store and get Pablo a chew toy?" she said

"Sure why not?"

We drove to the pet store and got Pablo his toy and started packing. Since it was December back in Kentucky it was cold. I packed Lauren some boots two jackets long and short sleeved shirts some jeans leggings long sleeve dresses and tights as well as socks shoes and undergarments.

Josh packed some plaid shirts jeans and jackets.

I packed a simple black dress but it was definitely cute. I packed some long-sleeved shirts jeans and sweat pants. We didn't need to pack much because we had clothes at my moms house.

Afterwards we watched some tv and ate dinner which was pizza then we went to bed.

"Goodnight mommy" Lauren smiled

"Goodnight sweetheart sleep tight" I said and kissed her on the forehead

"Goodnight daddy" she said

"Goodnight baby girl I love you" and turned off the lights then headed to our room.

"Do we have everything packed"

"Yea we have the clothes that we need and our carry on suitcases ready" I said

"Alright then goodnight Jen I love you" he said and wrapped his arms around me.

"Goodnight I love you" I sighed of exhaustion and the way he made me feel.
