About time(sequal to Mine)

Chapter 4

Jennifer-
It was 4:30 in the morning when we woke up. Lauren was in a really crancky mood because well it was the middle of the night. Josh put our 3 suitcases in the car and I gave Lauren her vitamins and helped her change into some leggings and a hoodie. I had some really comftorable jeans a white tank top and one of Josh's flannels.
"Mommy i'm tired" whined Lauren
"Sweetie we all are what do you say if we stop for a quick breakfast at Lulu's?"
"Really?" she said with a wide smile
"Ofcourse babe i'm sure daddys hungry too" I smiled back.
"Good because i'm really hungry"
"Me too baby"
I checked my list to see if we had forgotten anything.
"Seems like we're ready to go" I smiled to Josh
"Great" said Josh and gave me a kiss
"Wish we would've stayed in bed longer" he said
"Well guess you'll have to wait because i'm not sure we'll have time at my moms house." I winked
"That sucks" he said wrapping his hands around my waist I giggled
We drove Lulus had a quick breakfast then made our way to the airport where ofcourse we were mobbed by paparazzi. Josh had two luggages I had one and Lauren had her backpack.
"Jennifer where are you heading of too?" one said
"Kentucky" I replied trying not to sound annoying
"Lauren are you excited to go back to go?"
Lauren looked up at me frightened she had anxiety I nodded approving her to reply.
"Yes very" she smiled and they took more pictures and asked more questions but we didn't answer. Some followed into the airport but the security stopped them.
"Lauren are you okay?" I asked
"Mhm" she said trying to normalize her breath
We checked our bags and our tickets I was looking for our passports in my purse.
"Alright Lauren we'll just be a moment and then we can go sit down okay?" I said giving the lady the tickets and passports
"Lauren?" I repeated
"Josh were's Lauren?" I asked looking around
"What?" he asked putting the luggages onto the band
"I can't find Lauren" I said looking around
"Well calm down lets see where did you leave her?"
"She was just here next to me and I looked for the passports"
"M'am should I call security?" said the lady
"Yeah please"
"Alright lets see check the bathrooms" I said
"Alright that way and that way" he said
"Okay you go there and i'll go there"
"Okay"
"Did you find her?"
"No" I said putting my hand on my forehead
"Where could she be?" I asked panicking a bit
"Honey she probably just wandered off somewhere we have security looking for her."
We walked around looking in the waiting areas.
"Josh" I said
"Yeah"
"Look" I found her bookbag by a seat and looked inside
"Is it hers?"
"Yeah her fairytale book is here" I said wipping a tear away from my cheek. I couldn't help but thinking the worst.
Lauren-
A man in a suit told me that my daddy was in the airport store and that he told him to go get me and take me to him.
"Where are we going?" I asked
"Somewhere" said his deep voice I had never seen before. He had made me leave my bookbag back there.
"Why can't we go back for my bookbag?"
He didn't answer
"Are you sure you work for my dad and mom?" I asked
"Yes"
"No you don't" I said
"Yes I do"
"If you work for my parents then you've been to our house what color is our living room?"
"White"
"Wrong its light blue you don't work for my parents" I yelled and ran
The man tried catching up to me but I was small so I could run faster.
"Mommy mommy" I yelled
"Mommy?" I asked looking around all I saw were faces. I got scarred and started crying.
"Sweetheart whats wrong?" said a lady
"I can't find my mom or dad" I said wipping a tear off my face and looking back
"Alright honey calm down whats your parents' name?"
"Jennifer and Josh Hutcherson"
"Okay baby do you have a number that we can call?"
"LAUREN SWEETHEART"
"Mommy" I said running up to her
"Babe you had us worried sick where were you?" asked my dad
"Well a man in a suit told me that he worked for you guys and that daddy was waiting for me at the gift shop. I figured he didn't work for you when he said gift shop because I know how much you hate gift shops" I said wipping a tear off my eyes
"Well the good thing is that you're okay but did you see his face?" Asked my dad
"Yeah I did but I had never seen him before"
"I'm so glad you're with me sweetheart" said my mom hugging me tightly
We finished checking our tickets and then went to the waiting gate.
Josh-
I was so glad we found Lauren. After we did, we waited and then boarded the plane. Since the flight from Los Angeles to Kentucky was 3 hours and a half, I decided to take a nap. I looked at Jen her beautiful face looking out the window I knew something was wrong.
"Babe are you okay?" I said
"Yeah" she said
"No you're not" I said "Whats wrong?"
"Well" she started off looking to see if Lauren was sleeping
"The thing is that what if that wasn't a coincidence?"
"What was"
"That the man took Lauren"
"What do you mean?"
"Well i'm saying that what if Nicholas is up to this?" she said getting a bit anxious
"Don't worry Jen if he is up to this i'll protect you Lauren and that little person in there" I said pointing to her belly and she giggled
"I love you Josh" she said
"Love you too Jen" I said kissing her letting her rest her head on my shoulder.
Jen-
I was so relieved we had found Lauren. Part of me thought that Nicholas was up to this I decided it was best for me to stop thinking about that so I decided to take a nap next to Josh and right by Lauren.
Three hours later we arrived in Kentucky fianlly the flight was on time. We got off the plane and then got our luggage. We went outside where a driver was waiting for us outside it was good to be home here the fresh warm moist air and not alot of paparazzi here so that was nice everyone here knew each other especially on the block where my parents lived we were all treated the same here no one cared if you were famous. Here Josh and I were just that Jen and Josh and I loved that.
