Four: Warm and fuzzy

They got tickets for a few different rides and games and decided to first go to the game stand where you can win stuffed animals.

They each got little darts to throw at the board filled of different colored balloons. The girl running the stand known my Megan, as her name tag said, instructed them to throw their darts at the balloons with the highest numbers.

Jenna's pov

Tyler motioned for me to throw my darts first and I missed the first two trys. "Last try, make it a good one!" Tyler whispered to me. I threw the dart and it hit a pink balloon and I won a rubber duck.

My turn was over and it's now Ty's turn. "You got it b-" I quickly stopped myself, hopefully he didn't catch on to that. He probably would have though I was weird if I called him babe, we aren't in a relationship. We are friends and we are hanging out, I don't think it's a date. My mind filled with thoughts about Tyler and I.

Of course Tyler being Tyler he hit the balloons with all three darts and won a big fuzzy teddy bear. He immediately handed the brown bear over to me saying "this is for you, madam."

I took it from his arms and smiled, "thank you Tyler!!" He smiled back warmly and we went to go buy some popcorn. The next ride we planned to go on was the Ferris wheel.

Walking over Tyler and I grabbed each others hands and it made my heart warm and fuzzy. I haven't known him for longer than a few days, but he gives me feelings no one else can.

A worker opened the door of the red carts and Tyler put his hand out to help me in. He sat across from me and we enjoyed our popcorn going around. The sun was setting and we decided to take a picture.

I dug my phone out of my back pocket and opened up the camera, Tyler made a goofy face as I took the photo. "Tylerrr, come on you are cute and all but how bout a smiley picture?" I asked making him blush.

"Alright," he replied playfully rolling his eyes. He surprisingly smiled in the next photo and I put my phone away. "You are very cute, Mr. Joseph." He began blushing again and said, "well did I tell you how beautiful you look today?"

Then I felt my face get hot and red, now I was blushing! How can this man make me feel this way? I wasn't complaining it really made me happy, it was a good feeling.

The Ferris wheel stopped a few times to let riders on and off before we got to the top. Once we got to the top we stopped moving for a bit.

I started getting very nervous.

Tyler's pov

Jenna looked so beautiful tonight, that's all I could think about. Our cart got to the top and stopped for a moment just like the previous times, except it didn't resume it's motion quickly. Not even after a few minutes.

"Ty, I don't mind Ferris wheels usually but I'm afraid of heights and I think we are stuck."

"Don't worry, I'm here and nothing will happen to you. I promise." I felt bad, it was my idea to go on the Ferris wheel and now we are stuck.

Minutes later we heard someone talking on a megaphone, they were saying that we should resume our motion in a few minutes and not to worry. I could tell that made Jenna feel a little better.

"Sorry I made us go on this dumb thing." I looked away from her not wanting to make eye contact.

"No, don't worry about it. It's not your fault it got stuck!" She replied genuinely not wanting me to feel upset.

I looked up and met her eyes, her bright blue eyes, the color of the sky on a sunny day. They were beautiful just like her.
She smiled at me and my butterflies went wild through my stomach.

"So do you really like me, Like you said in the coffee shop?" I asked said hesitantly. "Of course tyler." She smiled and acted like she didn't know what I was speaking of.

"Yeah, I mean.. do you like me how I like you." I asked, afraid of her answer.

"Yes, you are the only one who I would want to be stuck up here with." My heart jumped, how this amazing, gorgeous girl could have feelings for me, I wasn't sure.

We stared into each others eyes and I took her hands from her lap and held them in mine. She glanced at our hands and back up at me.

"We will be down soon I promise" I said in a soft tone observing her baby pink lips and the other features of her face.

She leaned closer to me repetitively looking up to my eyes and back to my lips.
We both leaned closer until our eyes shut and our lips touched. It was like an invisible string pulling us closer and closer.

I got a feeling I hadn't felt in a long time, except it was better. Love and warmth spreading through my whole body, this girl is my everything.

Almost instantly the ride started back up startling both of us and we both smiled and blushed. We stayed silent the rest of the ride down, but a good silence not an awkward one.

We stepped off the ride and began walking back to my car. I glanced at my watch and saw it was 7pm. I opened the door for Jenna as she hopped into the car.
