Concert

Freaking heck guys! I had my moment!

So, I play the trumpet in the band. Tonight, four schools in my area had a band and choir concert. We do it every year. This is a very formal event, and the girls wear prom dresses most of the time.

I'm not a huge dress person. I don't think I'm very attractive most of the time. I'm not a fan of exposing myself like that.

But tonight... tonight was different. I found a dress that belonged to my aunt. It was a beautiful dark blue. It is kinda shiny, and had little flowers on it. It was strapless, and has a little shawl with it. Also, the back is a string tie. It is darling.

My mom also let me borrow a pearl choker necklace and pearl earrings. They went beautifully. I put in makeup, too, which made me feel better.

So I wore the dress. I thought it was pretty, but I didn't think I was beautiful or anything. But here I go, walking into the room with my band friends.

I take off my coat, and everyone goes "Ohhhhhhh". Literally a stereotypical thing. But, I felt beautiful in that moment. I was rocking the dress.

I looked great, the concert went well, I got pictures with my girls.

I maybe got a picture with the guy I like but who knows...

Anyway. The night ended too early.

I finally had my moment. 🧡💙🧡
