1.) Who has been the biggest influence on your life?
Probably my mother. I get my snark and sass from her. I love her so much. I also ended up looking like her. We have the same sense of humor and we like the same things. I always try to "impress" her (for lack of a better word), almost like trying to earn love and respect, I guess. I have a lot of respect for my mom and I aim to be like her.
2.) What kind of things make you really laugh?
What a hard one to answer. I'll honestly laugh at just about anything! But things that make me lose my mind are just the comments people make. Either just completely random, or that one sentence that really strikes my funny bone. There really isn't any sort of tangible pattern.
3.) What's your favorite place in the entire world?
Call me dorky, but I really like Disney World. Anywhere my family happens to be is where I would want to be. And I really love to travel, so I love anywhere that makes me feel good inside. I can't explain the feeling.
4.) Who is your best friend? What do you like about them?
I have a few close friends (y'all know who you are) but I'll do my friend Anna this time. I'll get around to everyone eventually.
So Anna. She always makes me laugh. We have each other's back. She is very loud and could come across as obnoxious to some. But I love her, ya know? We do a lot together. She is more outgoing than I am, so she has more friends. I try and support her. She doesn't have much confidence in herself, so I always hype her up. She's great.
5.) What is your favorite movie of all time? Why so?
So my favorite movie is always changing. It also depends on what I feel like in the moment. But right now, it would probably have to be Avengers: Endgame. I can't say much because of spoilers, and I don't do that. But I can say that it was such a perfect ending to an amazing era.
6.) What is your biggest goal in life right now?
Well... I'm not sure. I really want to get to college and go through a foreign-exchange program. I'd like to a photographer and travel the world. And meet the love of my life. Sounds cheesy and simple, but for me it'll be a miracle for any of that to happen.
7.) What is your favorite way to spend a Saturday?
Oh, that's hard. It'll involve music, a lots of it. And being outside with the sun, breeze, birds, and blue sky. Plus my favourite coffee. Just enjoying myself outside.
8.) Do you have any pet peeves?
Oh do I! First, there needs to be proper grammar - spelling, capitalization, punctuation, the whole deal. I can't handle improper grammar. Also, when people use text abbreviations while they speak! Like physically saying TBH, BTW, LOL, ect. It is so, so awful.
9.) What was your family like growing up?
It'll be hard to answer this question properly. For starters, I was raised in a Christian home. But we weren't exactly the most strict Christian family, if that makes any sense. Like, we will use questionable jokes, occasionally curse, ect. Hard to explain, but yeah. And my family... we were always so loud! Always things to say! We would tell it like it was, too. We were all so close. My great-grandmother was basically my grandmother. And I am close to my aunts (blood-related or not). I'd like to say they were always supportive as well. A weird dynamic, but I wouldn't change it.
10.) What were you like as a kid?
Oh boy. I was rowdy, and did not get along with other kids very well for awhile. I was always my own person, that's for sure! I was very happy, and had lots to say! I talked fast, and I still do. I used to not care what others thought of me. In Inside Out, Riley had her Goofball Island, right? That was me, through-and-through.
11.) What should we know about you that we would never think to ask?
I dress kind of like a hobo most of the time. Comfort is always first! But lately, I've been embracing dresses and other things that I haven't in the past. It's starting with clothes, but I'm sure it will continue to make-up (which I don't normally wear) and getting my nails done.
12.) Do you have a nickname? If you do, what's the story behind it?
I have a few, actually. My younger cousins call me Mimmie because it's easier for them to say. My friends sometimes call me EmDog. I have absolutely no idea why!
13.) Who was your favorite school teacher/college professor?
My eighth grade science teacher was my favorite teacher. She was so fun! I was close with her daughter so I already had a cool bond with her. I would take her back any day.
14.) Have you figure out your calling in life yet? What is it?
I'm not entirely sure. I love kids and photography, that's what I know. And, deep down, I have a big heart. So maybe, just maybe, I'll be able to use all of those in my life calling.
15.) What do you hate most about the dating process?
I've never been on a date... but I'm sure I would hate how awkward it would be at first. I'm actually scared.
