Random Kid

Alright guys, so I went to this thing for kids my age today where they like mentor you to become leaders.

So at one of the stations, I had to pair up with another person. It was a "Thrive in Diversity" session, so we were gonna talk about differences and similarities.

So I was just standing there, waiting for someone to approach me cause we all know I'm awkward in social settings.

Then this kid and I kinda had a weird silent exchange in like 2 seconds of "You don't have someone? Yo me too! Let's go."

So we got together and it was just awkward silence. Then he says, "Well, yeah, I'm kinda quiet."

And I was all like, "Same! I'm awkward in social settings."

So it was like an odd exchange between two socially weird nerds where I was like, "I'm a band kid, so I'm kinda nerdy, I guess."

This kid, named Wyatt, was like, "I played French horn, but I'm in choir now."

Then another girl joined our group, and turns out she's in choir, too!

So I found my people. My new socially awkward, music nerd people.
It was so good.
