I feel myself freeze, my minds voice a weak whisper, 'what?'

'Alex I'm coming down now please don't be upset I'll explain everything.' His voice sounds panicked.

I get up from where I sit and stand with my toes sinking into the Earth, it moderately calms me but I feel, I don't know what I feel. I hear the door opening but I don't turn around, his feet pad softly on the wood, it's the softest sound and with each step, I feel a sharp pain in my heart. I feel a tear slip down my cheek and the breeze gently sweeps against me giving a soft comfort. An owl hoots within the forest and the crickets chirp quite fast, the lightest rustling in the trees is the only break against the silence that I let grow between us.

"Alex..." his voice cracks letting his emotion show through.

I turn around, the moonlight causes his white hair to glow, the wind carries my own hair to fall over my shoulder. His green eyes glow showing me that his wolf participates in this conversation, I close my eyes for a second and look for my own wolf. She pokes her head up and I open my arms, cautiously she moves forward and walks into me, I feel her in the back of my mind when I open my eyes again. I can tell my own eyes glow now and I take a deep breath, in truth, I feel hurt, all the things I've learnt, it was just a huge pile of lies and I just didn't expect this.

"You lied to me then." I swallow my voice soft.

"I did but let me explain," I look away to lick my lips but I feel my wolf encourage me so I nod, "I don't know if you remember but when we were young before your accident, you found me hiding in an alleyway, I was bleeding because a hunter had mistaken me for a rabbit. So I had an arrow lodged into my side and I was waiting for my Mother to come find me while I hid behind a dumpster but instead you found me."

"I remember," I say continuing to look away.

"Well you pulled out the arrow and I swiped at you and the arrow still covered in my blood cut you, but even though I hurt you, you still gave me your blood saying it would heal me. I didn't understand but it did, whether it was because you are part vampire or if you were my mate, it healed me too fast for me to even comprehend. By doing that we formed a bond, usually, you form a wolf bond by biting the back of the neck and taking some of your mate's blood because until wolves actually bite each other, then they just feel an attraction to be together. We actually would talk to each other every night through the bond. I was sent to the boarding school a few days after that." His eye shine at me.

"I don't remember that," I whisper hugging my arms, the wind has gotten more violent.

"That's OK because it was like two weeks later that you got into the accident and I was with you when it happened and suddenly you were gone, I still felt you but it was wrong. It was when you went to sleep that I heard it and felt it, you were scared and you'd scream, begging for someone to hear you and I did but you never heard me. I've been with you for a long time, I came home early because I pushed for it because I knew it when you got bitten, and your walls were already starting to break."

I swallow, it makes sense I watch him carefully the powerful wind blows strongly against us, blowing his almost shoulder-length hair into his eyes but he doesn't take them off me. I hug myself tighter, I've put up a wall so he can't feel me my wolf tries to sooth me from where she is in the back of my mind.

"So I rushed home, Scalia came with me because she'd been helping me deal with the bond because often when you got hurt, I'd get hurt as well. We weren't really friends but we had an agreement to help each other, I taught her to protect herself and she helped me work with the bond. So when I saw you again, I was overjoyed, I tried to play it cool but my family didn't approve of me because of my control issues, white wolves are dangerous we have the worst anger issues and because I was born an Alpha it only made it worse, especially because I would run away from home."
