Description of story as given by author:

“Some people bring out the worst in you, others bring out the best, and then there are those remarkably rare, addictive ones who just bring out the most. Of everything. They make you feel so alive that you’d follow them straight into hell, just to keep getting your fix.” — Karen Marie Moning, Shadowfever

Tessa O’Connell is a girl as ordinary as they come-or so she thinks. Her aim for senior year is to keep her head down yet somehow manage to convince her childhood love Jay Stone to love her back. What she isn’t prepared for is for Jay’s brother, Cole to return to town and change the life she’s always been seemingly content to live. Tall, gorgeous as all hell and a bad boy with ocean blue eyes and the perfect edge of adorability, he was her greatest tormentor, her number one enemy. But the guy that’s come back is like no one Tessa’s ever come across. He challenges her, he tests her limits, he forces her to bring out the girl she’s long ago buried under a veil of mediocrity and most of all he compels her to consider that perhaps the boy that infuriates her to the point of no return might just her guardian angel. Warning: The story comes with a bad boy notorious for making you swoon, inducing hysterical laughter and making you question whether you could purchase a clone on ebay.

This story. I don’t even know where to start. If the description isn’t enough for you (and yes I am guilty of trying to purchase Cole Stone on ebay) then let the fact that I have read and reread the story about …Oh I don’t know SEVEN or more times. I honestly lost count. But I will continue to reread this story and hopefully buy it off a bookshelf one day, until someone arrests me for reading it. I love this story. The quirkiness, the sassiness, the characters and their beautiful development through the chapters. Oh and before you say “it’s just another one of those dumb bad boy stories where the bad boy does something horrible and she falls to his feet in love with him regardless of the fact he hurt her sooooo much!1!!!” No. shut up. Spoiler: IT’S NOT LIKE THAT. Tessa grew up dealing with this ‘bad boy’ (he’s an effing cupcake and I love him) and she has since grown to be stronger and learned to stick up for herself. We know all about her childhood hardships because the author (JessGirl93 gives me reason to breathe) does such a well job fitting the back story into her current situations and giving us all we need to know about it. Not only that but she builds amazing backstories for basically any character who has a supporting role in the book. Tessa and Cole are my Wattpad OTP because Colessa is life. They are there for each other and they love each other in a way that makes them their world without making their life revolve solely on them to the point they ignore their friends and responsibilities. There are bumps in their growing relationship that makes you second guess what I just said but they are teenagers and they are in love. So Shut up. I don’t think I will ever let this story go. I was so happy to have been there from the beginning with the Jay situation to the resolution and even from the kit kats. Also, you know how parents are never in stories because “OMG TEENAGERS AND FANFICS AND NO RESPONSIBILITIES!1!!) Yea no. Both of their parents play a respectable amount of time into the story and we also see a lot of character development from Tessa’s parents. Also; Cole’s MOM!! Prepare to say out loud that one of your favorite characters from a quirky teenage fiction book is a freakin MOM. Because Mrs.Stone is the bomb dot com and I love her. If you can make a mom who isn’t a main character one of my favorites then you must believe this is an incredible story. And I just found out that the next book is posted and AHHHHH I cannot breathe. So you can bet you know what I will be reading tonight.

As for the amazing author of this beautiful story that has me drowning in Ship Feels. Well she is wonderful and caring for all her fans and writes beautifully. She isn’t big headed like most popular authors on Wattpad and I respect her sooo much. So JessGirl93 thank you for taking time out of your life and letting us into your creative mind by sharing your beautiful story with us and for making such a wonderful world for us to be a part of. I am happy to say that I was there alongside Tessa and Cole through their relationship development and there when Beth had her struggles and for Tessa and her brother and helping each other getting their lives back on track when they needed that sibling boost.

If I gave ratings (should I start doing that) I would give this book a 7 out of 5 because in the  words of Beyonce; FLAWLESS.

Also: I am writing another story that’s not really a story. It is called the Unofficial and Unspoken Rules of College so check it out and even share some of your college rules with me to be put in a chapter and get a dedication (credit that it is your rule)
