Okay, that doesn’t give much away but let me just tell you… I wanted to do this author as a whole because greenwriter is simply spectacular, but I can’t because I made the rule for myself not to so I chose one of my favorite stories by her and got Toto and the Boys: Jackie. I have basically read probably all but 4? Of her stories. I love them soooo much. Toto is the car whose point of view we get to see, and the boys are actually girls. Jackie, George, and Dannie. Judging by their names you can probably see why they are called the boys.

There will be three books, Jackie’s (this one which is already completed), Georgie’s (being written right now), and sweet little Dannie (who isn’t out yet we just have to be patient). If that idea doesn’t draw you in let’s talk about Jackie’s story. Brian is an annoying, lovesick guy who works in the same company as Jackie. HE WON’T LEAVE HER ALONE and of course it gets to the point where Jackie can’t handle it and is scared. No one is willing to help her, not her scary-don’t-ever-approach-me boss Dean *swoon*. So being the crazy loving girl she is she comes up with the idea to make it look like Dean is dating her because he is the only person who can scare Brian off just by being there.

The character development of these characters is so wonderful, they spend more time together and then BOOM plot twist and goodness I enjoyed this book so much. I recommend it to everyone and anyone. It literally made me so happy whenever I saw an update I don’t think I have ever been excited for something like I was for this book. It is light hearted, laugh till you cry hilarious, sassy, and it has a car with a mind of its own. Toto makes every single second of his POV worth reading. I don’t think I have ever considered a car to be something that can have so much sass and personality the way Toto does. I never considered naming my car but now I want to just for the sake of how cars feel in this book. Not only does green do a fantastic job writing Jackie’s story, she also lets us in for bits and previews of what’s to come with George’s story.

That is probably my favorite thing about this author. She has this group of stories with characters and they all connect to another story. For example (yes I am drifting from  Toto and the Boys because I wanna talk about all her books and I can so I will) in The Bachelor – the first book I read by her – you see the male protagonist, Zach, then you throughout the story you meet his friends and at the end the epilogue includes the future, then you go read the Perfect Lie with Liam who is Zach’s best friend and in all her other stories this group of people always find their way, some from the past, others taking place right during the story. Same for Loving Seasons. I loved winter’s story with Sophia and Bryce and she let us in on Lily’s story for spring (both completed) and next we will get Sam’s story before the long awaited Vince. She really thinks each character through and gives them a background and incorporates it into her work to make you want to know what is happening with them before she even writes their story. I admire her so much and if you want a good adventure and story I will literally just throw you at her page.

I know this recommendation is all over the place but I just love her stories so much and I got so excited to write this.

If I rated authors I would give her the highest of everything, 5 stars, 10/10, a freakin Oscar! She is from the Philippines I believe so sometimes the writing is off but it is literally 9/10 of awesome writing and I wish I lived where she does so I can buy her books when they get published!
