Secret garden, here I lay
A flower, poppy, in my hand
You'd always be there for me, I pray
Jump here, there, quickly disband

Echoes through a tunnel end
Our friendship took a month to mend
Yet the thoughts, one-sided, I lend
Hush, or do you lay on barren land?

Hell I send
Ache I fend

Come say hi when you see me

Grass is green when it's alive
Hazed thoughts like a beehive
Pumpkin pies and apple strudels
What else was gone since I was five?

I've grown now, kid, come out
Come out of your locked cell
Of your brain you named Brian
A snail, sluggish, no shell

Come out of it, little child
You have no sister, come into reality, worse
Bitter as it is, don't dwell on it further
It's not puppy love, it's reverence

You'd be my friend, would you?
I dedicated this collection for you
it's even the title of the book.

would you?
