Glimpse of dread
My doubts, your lies?
Cry on bed
Remove your mask
Kill, abandon
Fog, blurry mind
Thoughts so random-
No. This is a one-sided mirror
A one-way ticket to fake affection
Touch, hold back, sunset hide
Forbidden, to you, I'm closing in
Maybe it's my fault, being possessive
Afraid of losing you, staring, trust
Poker face for emotions, ambiguous feel
Forced smiles of yours, biting the dust
Four-lined stanzas you'll never see
Just maybe one, thoughts pretending
The one with gloom, one with breeze
Stay, cycles, everything ending
The one I, myself, broke down writing
Environment in my mind, I created
A perfect utopia, golden euphoria
Reality creeps in, what I made, you hated
Wooden shack, a torn-down mess
Door nailed down, limits don't hold
Only time can open your barriers
The inside colours begin to unfold
On the grass, high on life
Calling the moon, explicit word
Beautiful wreck, I circle around
Gazes kept, my voice you heard
A screaming urge, hold back
Lonely child, a raging fire, bullet gun
Close enough, these forbidden thoughts
You disallow, not just me, everyone
At least that's fair
Time, only to play
Others, you seem to manipulate
But for me, you seem to soften
You patiently stay
Ghost away.

Handwritten notes draping my table
Carbon copy of you, completely
You gave me love, you tried

Melted heart, joyful time
