*****Jake POV*****

I wince when I get into Zach's truck, but I do it so they don't see. Zach drives us home.

"Well, here you are." He says.

"Thanks man." I reply.

"Yeah. Thanks." Taylor says, smiling.

"No problem." Zach replies. They help me out and onto my crutches.

"Are you guys gonna be okay?" Zach asks.

"Yeah." Taylor says. Zach hugs Taylor, then me. Then he gets in and drives away. Taylor helps me into the house.

"Okay. Where do you want to be?" She asks.

"Upstairs. But that can't happen. So, I guess we could turn the office into my room." I say, shrugging. It's not really an office. It used to be her dad's, but they cleared everything out of it. It's more like a guest room, without nothing in it.

"Okay. I can take the mattress off your bed. And bring all your stuff down." She says, starting up the stairs.

"Taylor?" I call.

"Yes." She replies, walking towards me. I grab her hand and kiss her.

"What was that for?" She asks when we're done.

"For being such an amazing girlfriend." I reply.

"Well, you're an amazing boyfriend and best friend." She says, smiling. Then she runs upstairs to get our stuff. She comes back down a few minutes later with a few boxes.

"Okay. This is all of your clothes. This is your shoes. And this is just random stuff that you brought." She says, setting them down in front of the couch.

"Thanks." I reply. She goes back upstairs, returning with the mattress.

"We can only fit one of we both want a dresser and a desk." She explains.

"Okay." I reply, smiling to myself. She puts that in the corner and runs back upstairs. She returns a few minutes later with her dresser and she's struggling to carry it.

"How'd you get that down the stairs?" I question.

"I went down first and I just slid it, step my step." She replies. I nod. She goes back up, returning with my dresser.

She sets them up, side by side, on the wall opposite of the bed. The room is starting to fill up. We can fit 2 desks along the long wall, but that's it because I still need to get around. She goes up, returning with her desk and she sets it down. Then she gets mine and sets it down next to hers.

"Almost done." She sighs.

Then she runs upstairs, returning with 4 boxes.

"1 box of clothes, 1 box of shoes, and 2 boxes of school stuff and random stuff." She explains. Then she goes to her dresser and puts her clothes away. Then she puts her shoes in one drawer so that I don't trip on them.

I smile in thanks. Then she moves to her desk, setting everything up on it. Just the way it was upstairs.

"There." She says, putting her hands on her hips. She looks at me and holds back a laugh.

"I'll help you." She says, pulling me up.

"Thanks." I laugh. I fold my clothes while she sets things up on my desk.

Somehow, she makes everything fit without looking cluttered. I fold my clothes and put them away, making sure to leave room for my shoes. I put my shoes in the bottom drawer. And then I hobble over to the bed. I slowly lower myself onto it, laying down.

"Shit." Taylor says. Then she runs upstairs, returning with blankets and pillows.

"It wasn't that big of a deal." I say, laughing. She shrugs, laughing too. She puts the pillows down and I rest my head on it. Then she lays down next to me. I put my arms around her and she pulls the blankets on us, snuggling up to me.

"I love you." I say, facing her.

""I love you so much." She replies.

I wrap her in a hug. We stay like that for a while. She gets up and stretches.

"Are you hungry?" She asks.

"Kind of." I reply, glancing down.

"Hey. That's what I'm here for. I'll make you anything." She says.

"Hmmm. Can we get pizza?" I ask, holding back a laugh.

"Yes." She says, laughing. She calls the pizza place and asks for it to be delivered.

"I love you." I say again.

"I love you, too." She replies, leaning down and kissing me.
