Will Solace's Point of View

Panicking, Will says "Where is he?"

Jason and Percy exchanged looks. Hesitating whether to say something about it or not. Percy slightly shook his head, Jason immediately understood what he meant. It's as if Percy was saying, Will might flip if he knew what really happened to Nico. It's better not to tell him.

"What is it? Where is Nico?" Will repeats, fidgeting with the bandages in his hand. "I'm sorry, Will. We're not entirely sure. Nico, he left." Jason looks at Will with concern. "He's trapped, Will. We don't know where and We don't entirely know how—" Will interrupts Percy, screaming with pain heard in his voice, "Then tell me what you know! I can't just let Nico go like that. I-" Will's voice cracked. Tears fall down from his eyes. He admits it's an embarrassing decision to cry in front of two of his guy friends but that didn't matter to him at the moment. Nico was the only thing that mattered to him right now.

"Will, okay," Jason lets out a frustrated grunt. "He.. He's trapped in Tartarus. When we saw him trapped, he immediately told us to leave, we-. We're sorry, Will." Jason explains.

"You're not- This is not.." Will hesitates, "Th- Thank you." Will storms out, still sobbing. He runs to out to the forest where the weather seemed to be corresponding to his emotions. He felt miserable wanting to find Nico yet he knew he wasn't capable of finding him fast enough. How would he ever find Nico in Tartarus without getting in danger and if he does succeed to find him how will he get him out of there safe and sound? Does he even have enough time before Nico- He pushes the thought out. Will desperately hoped Nico was okay. He wasn't ready to lose him. Not now. He wanted to make it up to him before anything ever happens, he can't lose Nico without Nico knowing Will loves him with all his heart. The whole fight was a mistake, Will thought. And it was definitely all your fault.

The rain stops and changes to cold mist. The fog covered everything low, within it's reach. Will was curled up leaning against a tree, crying his eyes out. It hurt him so much knowing it's his fault Nico was ever put into danger's hands as of now. How could he have let Nico go to this obviously dangerous quest? "You tried to stop him, I- It's okay." He whispered to himself, shivering in the cold. It was hard to say that it's all okay knowing it isn't.

Will tries to calm himself down. He needed to go after Nico. He had to go after Nico. If anything, He'd die to save Nico. You've got to pull yourself together. Will thought. Will then struggles to stand up. It took all his strength to convince himself to get up and that had put enough weight on his shoulders.

When he eventually succeeded to stand up. He leaned on the tree, grasping for strength. Trying with all his best to keep himself together, not falling apart. He gathered himself slowly, taking each step one by one. A tear falling down every single time he thought of Nico. And that was frequent since Nico was the only thing in his mind.

When he reached his cabin, it took long enough. He gathered up everything he thought he needed for a typical quest. He grabbed a couple of clothes for him and Nico since he knew they would need it later on and it would take Will (a) day(s) to get to where Nico is. It was frustrating to admit that, He hoped Nico would stay alive until he got there to save him. Will hoped he could save him. He didn't believe himself though, He knew he was only a healer and there was nothing more to that.

"I'm only a healer, Nico!  I ca- can't do anything other than that! That's how useless I am! You think I can ever help you in times where you're in serious danger? Look at me! I'm a mess! A- a useless mess!" Will bursts out crying in front of Nico.

Nico gives him a big hug and eventually pulls out looking up at Will, "Hey, look at me. And listen. Carefully. You're not a mess, Will. And is definitely not useless. If anything, you're the best person I have ever met. That's saying a lot since I'm not the best with people and you know that." He cups Will's face and wipes his tears out with his thumbs. "You have a purpose, Will. You're the reason I'm happy. You're the reason I'm here. Without you, I- I don't think I'll ever be the person I am today. I'm here for you, Will. And always will be." Nico gives him a big comforting smile.

Will snaps himself out of it. Though, accepting that the thought helped. He looked at the stuff he prepared and figured he was ready. He didn't need a prophecy, did he? No. Whatever. You're going to save Nico no matter what. Will reminded himself. Think about Nico. You can do this. He put all the things he prepared into his backpack, He then headed to the infirmary to grab medical supplies they might need later on.

Will led himself to the only way out of Camp Half-Blood. He held on tightly to the straps of his backpack. He took a deep breath and head on out to the woods, where things start getting dangerous. He was past the camp's borders, he was no longer safe. Nico. You'll do this for Nico. He kept telling himself. He thought about Nico and made it his motivation to go on. Whatever happens, you're gonna do this for Nico.
