*HAYES POV STILL*

I come back into my condo and see Nash still sitting on the couch.

"Are the sandwiches done?" I ask him

"Oh. Ya about that, we don't have any bread." He says

"Are you kidding me?"

"Nope"

"Well do we have noodles? Both Hannah and Ella love noodles."

"Uh I think so somewhere." Nash gets his lazy butt off of the couch and looks in the cabinet for noodles. Sure enough we have bow tie noodles. Those are my favorite, I don't know why, but they are. Nash gets the noodles cooking and I go and look for Ella.

There she is on the porch swing with her phone, probably going through Twitter or vine or something. Gosh I hope she doesn't tweet that she is with Nash and I all summer, or we gon have some proooooblems. Oh well.

I quietly sneak behind the swing. Once I get behind it, I lay down on the ground and scootch myself under the swing. Ella's feet barely touch the ground, so as she's swinging, I tickle her feet.

**Ella's POV**

I got dressed and decided to go out on the porch swing. As I sit and scroll through twitter, I feel something touch my feet. I move them and continue scrolling. Something touches my feet again. I look under the swing slightly and don't see anything.

Then it touches my feet again. I get off of the swing and look under it again. I see the cutest guy ever, Hayes Grier.

"Hayes, don't do that!" I say. He smiles. Oh my gosh I think I just died. Hayes's smile is so beautiful. We get off of the ground, sit on the swing and talk for a long time.

After a while I start to day dream while looking in his eyes. I can't believe that I am the girl that gets to spend the whole summer with the one and only Hayes Grier. I think to my self. He said something, but I didn't catch it.

"ELLA!" Hayes snaps his fingers in my face. I jerk back a little, or a lot, and smack my head against the wooden post that the swing is connected to.

"Ah!" I say rubbing my head. "Don't do that!!" I kinda yell at him.

"Sorry..." his voice trails and he looks a little sad.

"Oh, I didn't mean to yell." I give him a hug. By the way, he smells absolutely wonderful.

"Hey, do you want to go on a double date? You and me, and Nash and Hannah."

Oh

My

Gosh

What

Just

Happened

Did Hayes just ask me on a date?? No way. I keep this all inside of me and play it cool

"Sounds like a plan." I say. "When?"

"Tonight at sunset. Nash and I already have something planned. No need to get fancy."

"Ok. what do you want to do in the mean time?" I ask him.

Hayes thinks...

"Up for a swim?" he asks

"You bet"

**Hannah's POV**

"MY ANACONDA DONT! MY ANACONDA DONT! MY ANACONDA DONT WANT NON UNLESS YOU GOT BUNS HUN!!" I was dancing pretty weirdly on the boat, not to mention singing, too. I did a little spin move and stopped. Nash was standing on the dock and giving me a strange look. I quickly try to turn off the music, but drop my iPod on the floor of the boat. I scrambled to get it and finally stopped the song. I stood up and Nash was giving me an even weirder look.

"You. Saw. Nothing. Ok?" I say pointing at him. He puts his hands up and surrenders, while laughing.

"Hey Hannah." He approaches "Permission to come aboard?"

"Granted." Nash jumps on the boat, making me lose my balance a little. We talk for a while and listen to music.

"Hey, do you want to go on a double date? You and me, and Hayes and Ella."

"Wha- wha- wha- hold up." The song plays this part at the perfect timing. And this was my exact reaction.

"Uh, yea." I say nervously. "That would be fine." I manage a smile while a flashback goes through my mind

*flashback*

I feel a sharp pain on my cheek. He just slapped me, again.

Justin, my previous boyfriend, came home drunk. He's only 17, making him underage. The party must've been wild, because he said he'd never drink. All I asked for Justin to do was go to bed. He's abused me for a long time. Now I was done.

"Don't tell me what to do, bitch!" he yelled. I ran out of the room. Out of the house. Out of the neighborhood. I ran till I couldn't run anymore. I sent him a very strongly worded text saying we're through. I cried that whole night.

*end of flashback*

"What's wrong?" asked Nash

"Oh nothing. Ok, something. My last boyfriend abused me and really hurt me. I'm just afraid it will happen again." I say as my eyes water. Nash pulls me into a hug.

"It's ok. A good guy never hurts his girl. I'd never do that to you, Hannah. Never." His hugs are so warm. "So," he says, pulling away. "How 'bout that date?"

"Yes, I'd love to go. When?" I answer

"Tonight at sunset. Hayes and I have it planned out already. No need to get all dressed up."

"Ok, wanna go swimming?" I ask him. I look over and see Ella already on the raft waving at us.

"Race ya!" and we ran to the water. All four of us played games in the water, such as splash fights and Marco Polo, until the sun was getting low in the sky. Then, it was time to get ready for the Double Date.
