*NASH POV*
*THAT SAME DAY*
Ella and Hayes get off of the boat, and so do I. I go and hang my soaking wet life jacket on the clothes line. I turn and see Hannah walking towards me, probably coming to hang her life jacket up too. I decided to talk to her, or at least try too.
"Hey." I say. "You are a really good surfer."
"Thanks. My legs hurt after a while though." she said as she tries to reach the clothes line. Her hair is a light brown, and it goes down to her waist. She has bright green eyes, and freckles sprinkled a crossed her small nose. She looks perfect but I have to admit, she's pretty short for her age.
"Here, lemme get the for ya."
"Oh, why thank you." We talk for a while and get to know each other more. We have the same birthday, December 28th, only we are a year apart. Hannah is an amazing girl.
"Ya know, being short isn't so bad." I say
"Why's that?" Hannah asks
"Well, it's easier to get around. You're quicker, your can fit into small spaces and," I pick her up bridal style "easier to lift."
"Hey, where ya takin me?!" she says
"To the docks." I respond
"Fine but whatever you do, DO NOT THROW ME IN THE WATER!!" she raised her voice a bit. I went to the dock and pretended to throw her in, but smoothly set her down. I sit down next to her.
"Wow, what a beautiful sunset." I say
"They don't get better than this." Hannah puts her head on my shoulder.
"Hey Hannah!" I look to my left and see Ella on a little stair case. "Come show Nash our little spot."
"Oh, you have to see this!" Hannah grabs my hand and pulls me across the dock and up those stairs. We come to this little opening and I see Hayes sitting on the ground looking around.
"Hayes what are you- WOAH" I look up and see the sun peaking through the willow trees. I look around and see flowers everywhere. This place is awesome! Turning to my right, I see what looks like a million of red flowers. In the center of them is a single white daisy. I pick it and give it to Hannah.
"Here." I hand her the flower.
"Aw, thanks Nash."
"Sure thing. I found it in the middle of those million red flowers. I guess you could say it was one in a million," I look at her face "... just like you"
When I said that not only could I see Hannah's heart melt through her eyes, but Ella made a weird screech, so I guess her heart melted too.
