Ellie and Jade finally saved up enough to get a better apartment. they have had many encounters with Aaron at the cafe. they usually went to the back and got another worker to serve him. they wait for him to leave before they come back out. one time they could have sworn he saw them. when he did he laughed a little. there new apartment a lot better than the other. now all they need are two plane tickets to Australia. shouldn't be hard right? that's what Ellie though until, she went to the library to see how much they are. a plane ticket to where they were going (Hobart) was $1,814 for a single ticket. Ellie accepted her fate and walked to the apartment where she left Jade. when she got back Jade was on the porch holding her kitten with an angry looking neighbor. Ellie ran up to the neighbor who started scolding her for something. before Ellie got there the neighbor grabbed the cat by its extra neck fur and scolded it. Ellie angrily ran and grabbed the cat from the person.
"excuse me!" Ellie yelled "what makes you think you have the right to scold my daughter then grab a kitten like that!" she gave the cat to Jade and told her to go inside. the person stopped her.
"excuse you miss, that CAT took a shit outside my door. that kid should have been watching it." the person exclaimed
"Sir, did the cat poop in your apartment?" Ellie asked "no it didn't, so you had no right to scold the cat. plus that cat is a sneaky fucker, so its also not THE KIDS fault! oh and 'THE KID' has a name! it's JADE!" yelled Ellie "now apologize to both of them!" she added
the man turned toward them. "I'm so sorry Jade. it won't happen again. you two little guy" he pet the cat. he turned toward Ellie "sorry, I'm Jack. I promise it won't happen again, but I would like if you or Jade would please pick up the poop."
"I'm Ellie, and Jade.." she looked at her "will get on that," she said
"ok and thank you. I have to go to work so I will be gone for a while. but if you ever need anything and I mean anything I'm apartment 401 on the right of yours." Jack said
Ellie nodded and waved him goodbye when he left.
"and that deer is how you settle an argument" she whispered to Jade as they walked into the building to go home and rest before having to buy some groceries. that night for dinner they had shrimp ravioli.
