Chapter 13

Walking inside the trap house it was more noise than usual, I walked past them seeing they were filming some type of prank video. So I decided to wait in the kitchen.

I walked into the kitchen and saw a pizza box there, it was still hot so I decided to eat their food. They should get used to it.

"Hey, that's my pizza." Colby frowned as he and Sam walked in on me eating pizza while sitting on the counter. I smiled sheepishly at him.

"It's not anymore." I grinned and took another bite. Sam laughed at Colby's expression, it looked like someone stole his candy. "You snooze, you lose." I said and laughed at him, this tasted so good, I didn't want to stop.

"Fine, eat." He playfully rolled his eyes at me, grinning. I just waved them off and continued to eat.

When I was done eating I joined them in the living room. We sat there catching up on what we have been doing, even though we saw each other the other day.

"I want to do something today, we always just sit around." I said and rolled over to lay on my stomach, we never really do much and today I actually had enough energy.

"We can go to a fair?" Sam suggested, I smiled at that. "I can also invite Kat, we all should go." He added and took out his phone, probably messaging her.

"Sounds like a plan." I grinned, excited. I haven't been to a fair in so long, it sounded like fun to go with them. They always make things funnier than it is.

All of the roommates wanted to join us, so we decided to take 2 cars. Me, Sam, Kat and Colby took Colby's car. Corey, Devyn, Jake and Aaron took Corey's car.

It was an hour long car drive, it shouldn't have taken so long, but we decided to stop and get something to eat on the way. And you know, we might have been there longer than what we talked about.

After the longest time being in a car with 3 crazy people, we were finally there. The excitement in my eyes was clear as we brought our tickets to get in. I was grinning the whole time, Kat was just as excited as me.

"This is amazing!" Kat yelled as we tried to find what ride to take first, I chuckled but agreed with her.

"Let's take this!" I yelled and pointed towards one of the most scary looking rides, we agreed and went on it. The loops made me scream a bit, while the others laughed at my dramatic moments.

We took a lot of different rides, it was fun. We all had a blast, none of us regretting going out for once, when it wasn't about a video.

At some point I started getting really hungry and wanted to eat something, the others wanted to go on a few more rides before eating, knowing they probably didn't want to do more afterwards.

"I can go with you." Colby shrugged, as the others headed to another ride. I smiled at him and nodded.

We walked over to a small restaurant thing, and found a place to sit. Both of us wanted pizza, so we decided to share a big one. Even though we probably wasn't going to finish it by ourselves.

"Thanks for coming with me." I smiled at him, waiting for our pizza to arrive. Colby looked up from his phone and grinned.

"Of course, I couldn't let you go by yourself." He said as he put the phone back into the pocket.

I smiled at him and nodded. "To be honest, I got kinda tired too, we've been taking so many rides today." I laughed and so did he.

"Yeah..." he nodded his head and focused his eyes on the table. "The other reason why I went with you, is because I like spending time with you." Colby said and looked up at me, waiting for some sort of response.

Not knowing what to say, I took a few moments before answering. I don't know what that means, but it made my heart beat faster. "I like spending time with you too." I smiled, and realised how cliche it sounded.

Colby just smiled at me, if I could freeze this moment I would.

Suddenly the moment got ruined by the waitress, she placed down our pizza and drinks. She told us to enjoy and we did. Colby and I didn't talk much after that, just a few small conversations.

Hopefully it won't be weird between us after our small confessions.

Yes, I finally updated a real chapter. I've been working on it for about 3 days, it look me a lot of time bc it was hard to write😂

It's a bit of a smaller one, but I hope you enjoyed it.
