***POV PIPER***

Piper was studying for a test in her dorm room when a woman suddenly appeared in front of her. She jumped back, shocked at the sudden appearance, then realized who the woman was. "Mom ?" her mother, Aphrodite, smiled at her "Hello, daughter." Piper narrowed her eyes, she didn't trust the sweet voice her mother used. She only spoke to her like this when she wanted something. "What do you want ?" Aphrodite gave her a fake innocent look "Whatever do you mean, can't I just visit my daughter without wanting something." "No." Piper stated plainly, she wanted to get on with this so she could back to studying. Aphrodite gave up the act "Fair enough, but I think you'll like this." Piper put down her textbook and crossed her arms "I sincerely doubt it." "It has to do with your friends Nico di Angelo and Will Solace." Piper raised her eyebrow, her interest peaked. "Go on..."

***TIME SKIP & POV NICO***

"Nico, Please." Jason begged the son of Hades. Nico glared at him, the son of Jupiter was making it impossible to concentrate on his homework. "I'm not going to the party with you, I have homework to do." Jason took the textbook out of his hands "This isn't even due for two more days." "My answer is still no, Jason." he told him and attempted to take back the book, but Jason kept it out of his reach. Curse him and all his tallness. "Piper is making me go, so you're coming to." Nico sighed in defeat, he knew that Jason wasn't going to leave him alone until he agreed to go with him. "Fine, what time should I be there ?" "10:30. I'm driving."

***TIME SKIP***

Nico stepped into the Venus sorority house, the building was covered in shades of white and red paint. Loud music could be heard through the entire mansion, the only light source was the neon lights. To be brief, he instantly regretted letting Jason convince him to come. But when he tried to turn around and leave, he ended up walking straight into Jason. "Nope, too late to back out now." Jason grabbed him by the shoulders and pushed him into the crowd. Jason leads him through the swarm of people, most of them holding pink or white cups. Jason quickly brought him to Piper, he wondered if maybe she told them to meet her there. She turned to face them "There you are. Hey, Nico." Both boys stayed silent for a moment to take in Piper's new look. She wore a long sleeve white crop top with a high waist black leather skirt and dark red ankle boots. It was strikingly similar to how to Venus kids dressed during these kinds of parties. "I was beginning to think you wouldn't come." Nico knew that was a lie, she knew Jason would come, especially when she was dressed like that. "Wouldn't miss it for the world." She smiled at Jason. He rolled his eyes, they were a sickeningly sweet couple. It didn't take long for the loud, wordless music was starting to give him a headache. "What does the white cup mean ?" he asked while pointing at the cup in Piper's hand. "Ah, you caught on quick. White means non-alcoholic. Take one, enjoy the party" he nodded. "Yeah, but-" he couldn't hear what Jason tried to tell him over the music. "What ?" Jason went to repeat himself, but Piper interrupted him. "Hey, we're going to go dance." Before Nico could protest, Jason was dragged away from him. Great, now I'm alone. He stood next to the table of cups, one half pink the other white. Well, she did say to take one. He picked up one of the cups and sipped on it. After a little bit, he wondered if Piper had lied to him about them not being alcoholic or if maybe someone put something in the cup. His mind felt fuzzy, not like it would be if it was alcoholic but definitely not normal. He considered trying to find Jason to take him home, but before he even took a step forward someone bumped into him. Not just anyone either, Will Solace. Nico has had a crush on him since he met him at Camp Half-Blood. But he never could muster enough courage to ever confront him about his feelings, plus he doubted that Will felt the same. "Oh, sorry about that Nico." he smiled brightly at Nico. Thank the gods it was too dark to see anything clearly, otherwise, Will would have seen him blush. "It's okay, hard to see." "Are you here alone ?" Nico rolled his eyes "Well, I was here with Jason but he went dancing with Piper." Will's smile turned from innocent to mischievous in a matter of seconds. "Do you want to dance ? With me, I mean." It was Nico's turn to be remained speechless. He want to dance, with me ? "Ah, Su-Sure." Nico took one last drink, downing the entire thing without thinking before Will grabbed his hand and lead him to the middle of the room.
