THE SILVER FOUR rush into the Gryffindor common room, the two twins at the front, "You guys are a Parselmouth?!" Ron asks, astonished, "Why didn't you tell us?"
Out of breath, the two twins reply, "We're a what?" They ask, confused.
"You can talk to snakes." Hermione sums up, a frown on her face.
"We know. I mean, we accidentally set a python on our cousin, Dudley at the zoo once." (y/n) explains, earning a wide eyed look from both Hermione and Ron, "Once. But so what?" She frowns.
"I bet loads of people here can do it." Harry shrugs.
"No, they can't. It's not a very common gift, Harry, (y/n)." Hermione says while Ron shakes his head, "This is bad." She adds.
"What's bad?" The twins both ask, (y/n) sounding more concerned then Harry.
"If we hadn't told that snake not to attack Justin — " (y/n) starts, but was cut off by Ron.
"Oh, that's what you said to it!" He says. It made more sense now, the other students had no idea what the twins were saying to the snake, and it looked like they were telling it to attack Justin.
"You were there! You heard us!" Harry exclaims, bewildered.
"I heard you speaking Parseltongue." Ron claims, "Snake language."
"We spoke a different language?" (y/n) asks, looking at Hermione and Ron in an obscure manner. Hermione and Ron nod their heads, "But I didn't realise — how can we speak a language without knowing we can?" She asks.
"I don't know, (y/n)." Hermione answers truthfully, she may be the brains in the group – along with (y/n), but she didn't know much about Parseltongue, "But it sounded like you were egging the snake on or something. Harry, (y/n), listen to me. There's a reason the symbol of Slytherin house is a serpent. Salazar Slytherin was a Parselmouth. He could talk to snakes too.
"Exactly! Now the whole school is going to think that you both are his great-great-great granddaughter and grandson or something!" Ron states warily, he really wasn't that fond of Slytherins.
"But we're not!" Harry loudly speaks, "We can't be . . " He drifts off.
"He lived a thousand years ago. For all we know, you could be . ." Hermione informs.

The silver four sat quietly in a classroom, doing their homework and essays. Harry and (y/n) feel eyes on them and turn around, noticing a few girls and boys staring at them, but instantly turn away. When the twins turn back, they watch as Ron seems like he's going to say something, but is too agitated to do so. Hermione gives them a weak, fake smile before continuing her work.
