Heather's POV
The next morning I roll out of bed and slowly get up and going. Since I still don't have school I grab a pair of high rise jeans and a cut off sweater. I leave my long hair down since I can't braid it with my cast.
I note that I'm not wearing makeup since last time I tried to do my own makeup it didn't go so well. I ended up with eyeliner on my forehead.
When I open my door light pours through my room blinding me. I step back and cover my eyes. When my eyes finally adjust I carefully head downstairs, keeping my eye out for Alex. But he's probably still sleeping. It's too early to leave for the coffee shop but it's too late to do anything useful.
I debate whether to wear nice shoes or boot but finally settle on boots so I don't slip. By the time I've decided I'm almost late.
I curse under my breath and quickly head out the door. As I walk toward the coffee shop my eyes take in the beautiful sight of the crystallized ice that covers the sidewalk. The warm air hits my face the second I walk into the coffee shop. I take a deep breath as the aroma of the coffee almost makes me moan out loud. God I love coffee.
I take my hat off leaving my crazy hair open for viewing.I sigh as I don't give a shit. I step in line to get a coffee and see Noah walking outside. When he opens the door a blast of cold icy winds whips me in the face and I shiver. Thank god my jacket fits over my cast.
I wave him over and he comes to join me in line. I notice that people are pointing and whispering since celebrities normally don't just walk into small coffee shops like this one.
I smile and just as I was about to ask him how he was a girl comes up to him and taps on his shoulder. He turns around and she says, " Hi I'm Allison, and i'm a huge fan of your show your just so amazing, Will is my favorite characters and I can't believe i'm finally meeting you and...." she trails of once she notices that he's waiting there patiently for her to finish.
" Oh sorry I ramble when I'm nervous, but anyways can I have a picture?" she asks, her cheeks turning a bright beet red.
"Ya sure," he smiles as she happily pulled out a phone with a pink glittery case. Once they finish taking photos she says thank you and quickly skirts away. He takes his spot in line and smiles at me.
"Sorry about that," he laughs, "it happens whenever I'm out in public."
"Oh no it's okay I was just going to ask you how you were," I reply, looking at my feet as if they'd suddenly become the most interesting thing in the room.
"I'm pretty good considering the accident was like a month ago, I still get really bad headaches though," he pursed his lips and let out a sigh.
I frowned and looked back at my feet until he asked, "What about you?"
" Oh I've been good, my brother's a pain in the ass as usual but other than that I'm good," I nod, as I realize I said the same thing twice.
We continue to talk as we get closer to the line and eventually I order a peppermint mocha and he gets a hot chocolate.
We sit in the corner and continue talking.
"Okay, but do you really like coffee plain?" He asks as I got a peppermint mocha instead of an actual coffee.
"Well yes but it's better flavoured," I smile as he shakes his head playfully.
"I don't understand you, coffee is gross," he makes a face making me laugh.
"Oh wow that was attractive," I giggle as he makes a pouty face. I notice he's staring straight behind me and I can see that several people have their phones out and are proceeding to take a video of us.
I watch quietly as his smirk quickly becomes a frown. He looks at me with those gorgeous hazel eyes and sighs.
"I'm sorry about them," he sighed, not even bothering to look me in the eye.
When I stayed silent he must've taken that as a cue to ask, "Do you maybe wanna go somewhere else?"
"Ya that would be nice," I smiled. I got my coat back on and when we were both ready we headed out. I got a few jealous looks but I ignored them.
I sipped on my coffee but he'd already finished his hot chocolate.
As we were walking Noah slipped and fell and I died of laughter.
"Noah!" I shrieked as he started to laugh too. By the time we both got off the street my sides hurt from laughing. I'd ended up spilling me drink but it was worth it.
"That, was hilarious," I rejoiced.
"Too bad you don't have it in video," he pointed out.
"Aww shit, I muttered looking a my phone.
I'd lost track of time and I have a doctors appointment in an hour.
"What?" He asked as I picked up the pace.
"I totally forgot that I have a doctors appointment in an hour and I really gotta get home," I replied, frowning.
He gave me a sad smile and we continued on our way.
We walked in silence until we got to the park near my house.
"I'm almost home and I don't want you to go out of your way to walk me home so I guess I'll see you later," I stammered not wanting to offend him.
"I will thank you very much," he snapped but I saw the look of disappointment on his face before it was incased by anger.
"Noah, I didn't mean it like that," I argued but he just ignored me and walked away.
I let out a frustrated groan and went on my way.
Now Noah's mad at me and I'm going to be late!
