Seizures//Noah Schnapp (not complete)

Chapter 3

Heather's POV

Then just like that the voice was gone. And I could open my eyes again maybe opening them would make the ringing in my head better.

I open my eyes to a white ceiling and the slow but steady beeping of a machine. At first I am confused because since when is there a beeping noise in my room?

Then it hits me. Everything too fast and instead of making my headache better it makes it worse.

I slowly look down at my hand praying that it was all a dream. But like most of the time it's real. There is a cast on my hand but it surprisingly doesn't hurt.

"Hello?" I croaked trying out my voice for the first time since....well you know.

I look around at my surroundings and notice that I'm not alone in the hospital room. There's a middle aged woman with blond hair, a boy with brown hair and an old lady who is actually awake. Wait a minute I recognize both the boy and the girl.

The girl is Lauren's mom and the boy..... well he's NOAH SCHNAPP! I guess I missed that detail from the crash yesterday.

Wait what day is it?

"You sure are one pretty thing sweetie," the old lady said, smiling at me. It felt nice to wake up to this. But I still had so many questions.

"Thank you, but who are you and where is my family?" I ask politely not wanting this lady to think I was some teenage bitch cause I'm obviously not! ;)

"I'm Madeline and this boy's family or friends I'm not sure which were here not even half a minute ago. Oh and a girl I think her name was Katie was here around an hour ago," she chattered giving too much information for me to handle.

Let me get this straight. Katie was here an hour ago, Noah's friend's or family were here to see him?and me? And this sweet old lady is named Madeline. I think I got it.

"Ok but any adults?" I ask, wondering if my parents have even found out yet.

"No actually but the girl Katie said to tell you when you woke up that your parents are on their way," she replies.

"Ok thank you but you still didn't answer my ques-

I was interrupted by the door swinging open. I sat right up praying it was Katie or my parents but when I saw who it was I nearly fainted.

I thought that she lived far away! I guess she stayed here because here she is.

MILLIE BOBBY BROWN.

But instead of noticing me like I was hoping no praying she would she went straight to Noah and started talking to him.

"Noah.....you might not be able to hear me but we're all here for you. Me, Sadie, Finn and the others but they're in New York instead of Atlanta. Oh and the doctor said your very lucky. And you only suffered two major injuries and a few minors," she whimpered the emotion building in her voice even if he couldn't hear her.

Now I could finally see how close the really are.
