Your memory problem seems to not have disappeared in this world: the next morning you wake up with an empty head and a serious headache. Agitated, you look around. You see an unfamiliar room. It's decorated with only pink artefacts. Intriguing... What kind of person would live here?
You sit up straight to get a better view of kitsch place. Turning your head to look for the exit, two big eyes make you scare-jump. These brown discs were staring at you. Not fully awake, you don't fight your instincts. Startled by the stranger, you scream as loud as you can. In response, the girl screams back. You stand up and take a defensive pose. You've watched countless of martial arts dramas so you imitate what you've seen on tv.
After a few seconds pass, you turn silent. This is awkward as hell. You definitely binge watched too many dramas: in reality, the pose you're striking looks ridiculous. You tweak a little before losing your balance. With a thud, you fall on the bed. As quickly as you can, you get back up again. The person who scared you starts to laugh.
'Miss, why are you so weird?', she says while laughing uncontrollably. You sigh a little. Why did you end up here? You aim to ask her, but the girl giggles: 'You are just like Chu ShengNan!' With a mischievous, she continues: 'Oops. I should not address General Chu in that way. No matter her unique behaviour, she's a constellation master after all!' Not understanding the meaning of this, your expression changes from slightly angered to confused.
You want to ask for an explanation, but it's still early and this person has -in your opinion- brutally waken you up for no reason. So you resort to staying calm and say: 'I'm sorry to break it for you, but I have no idea what you're talking about. And honestly, I don't care. But can you please give me my personal belongings and show me the way to Dongbei? I want to go home.'
The girl runs off, only to come back with your backpack. During her absence, you think everything over again. What can you remember? You try to put your memories in chronological order: first, there was the water. Reminiscing it, you feel a shiver coming up your spine. In order not to get too deep in your thoughts, you further reconstruct what you've gone through. You were "found" and brought to a pavilion. There, you were to stand in front of a group of people in historical updo. Oh, a small detail: Gu JiaCheng was also there! This made you think it was some hidden camera. Something like the ultimate prank.
You open your backpack. At first glance, everything you put in it, still is there. You turn around so the maid can't see the object you're pulling out of the little backpack. As a surprise attack, you turn around and press the button. The light stick aka taser does what it's best at: while you run out every person you encounter is shocked by the light and loud noise. Escape succeeded?!
While you run, you get tired. You turn left at a crossing, look back and, to your disappointment, there are a couple of guards chasing you. A little stroke of genius (or a martial arts drama flash back) later, you're hiding in the bushes. As expected, the guards run past you. Exhausted, you breathe out heavily. Getting out of this place is harder than you could have imagined. But it sure is worth it, you think while strolling through the city later that day.
