"Levi, you're five months old today, stinker! That's such a big boy!"
Levi looked at his mother with a serious expression.
"What is that look for? Smile!" Jessica giggles. "Smile!" She bounces him on her hip.
"Oh you're being silly! Here baby, sit down here so mommy can take your picture."
"Eh! EH!" Levi fussed and reaches for Jessica.
"No squishy, you're fine. Here, mister bunny will sit with you." Jessica places his little bunny next to him.
Levi looks at his stuffed animal then purses his lips and turns to his mother.
"Smile!" She laughs.
"Oh my goodness, are you too cool for pictures? Well too bad, buddy!"

Jessica soon got him ready to go.
"Mommy, what are you doing?" Brynlee asked.
"Packing all of Levi's things. Mommy and daddy have to work so you, little mister need to be a good boy! No throwing a fit because mommy is not there."
"He's not happy when you're gone, mommy."
"I know. He's a mama's boy. But I just love it!" Jessica kisses his chubby cheeks.
"I'm a mommy and a daddy's girl!"
"You are, aren't you? I love that!"
"Yep! Mommy?"
"Yes, Princess?"
"Please don't make me see Derek on Friday."
"Oh Bryn.. you know I have no control over that."
"But I don't have fun with him." She whines.
"Baby girl, I know and I'm so sorry. But you have fun with grandma and grandpa!"
"Yeah, I like them! I just hate my dad.."
"You don't hate anyone. Hate is a very strong word, Brynlee."
"Well I feel strongly about him."
"Honey.."
"I know, I know.. *Sighs* I'm sorry."
"You'll have fun." Jessica smiles and kisses her cheek.
