Louis’ POV

“How are the fans?” Harry asked Niall as he came back. He had just risked a look behind the curtains that were like a wall between us and the fans.

“Excited,” Niall smiled at him. “I guess they understand it all.”

My hand was rubbing my back, trying to comfort him. “I know how you feel,” I murmured and sighed. “I know what you’re thinking about.” Somehow it affected him more than any of us and I couldn’t help but feel jealous.

I know, I was being ridiculous because there would never be anything between the two of them but somehow it bothered me that they were so extremely close. Harry and Zayn had always been best friends and I was pretty sure that if I wasn’t a part of the band they would be this bromance everyone was shipping. Or Niam.

Harry smiled up and me since he was more or less lying. It was really weird to be the shorter one in a relationship since every girl I had been with before was smaller than me but now it felt right. I rested my head on his shoulder and breathed in his scent.

He was smelling like melons.

I looked up and met Liam’s gaze who didn’t look very happy either. None of us was because we all missed Zayn although he wasn’t gone for long yet. We just knew we wouldn’t be able to see him for a while and that was almost killing us.

Liam got up and sighed. “Guys, we need to go out there now. I know, it’s gonna be hard but we need to show them a good concert since they’ve paid a lot to see us today.”

I smiled and nodded, getting up and dragging Harry with me. I intertwined our fingers and he pecked my lips, causing my heart to beat faster. It was crazy how he could still make me feel like I had just fallen in love. “Hey, what about calling Gemma before going out there?” I asked.

Harry’s face lit up and he fished out his phone and drew the pattern to unlock his screen. He scrolled through his contacts until he landed on his sister’s contact details. He pressed the green button and put it on speaker.

After the third ring Gemma got up. “Hey there, Harry!” His sister’s voice called happily. “Nice to hear from you!”

“Hey there, Gemma,” Harry and I said in unison and the three of us giggled a little. “We are having a concert in a few and Louis suggested to give you a call before. Like you’re our lucky charm.”

I laughed and so did his sister. “Oh, well, thank you, guys! Oh, and I’m great. I don’t know, although it’s not my child I’m really excited already... But I’ll become fat! I don’t wanna look like an elephant or something!”

“People won’t look at you and think, ‘Oh, she is fat!’. They will look at you and think, ‘Aww, how cute, look, she is preggy’!” I said.

“You did not just say that,” Gemma said seriously and I chuckled.

“I did and I’m proud of,” I responded and poked out my tongue at her although she couldn’t see it.

“I wish you much luck for your show now but I need to go. I’m meeting up with someone.”

“Ooh, is it getting serious?” Harry asked teasingly and I couldn’t help but role my eyes at him. People would think I was the immature one but it really was Harry. But who could blame him? He was just too cute and cheeky and no-one could ever stay mad at him.

“Harry, shut it!” Gemma almost shouted but I could hear she was smiling and surely blushing. “I need to go now... Say the others good luck from me as well. I love you.”
